To be specific, I would like to purchase some land near the equator and build a SkyLadder to facilitate the industrialization of space.

Thank goodness, PPR isn't a serious forum, just a shouting match!

Anyway, all said and done, I probably would not vote for you. Partially because I don't see the point in voting, but also partially because I am certain not to agree with your positions.

Yes, globalization is not a good idea.

Actually, globalization is the wave of the future, the extension of the division of labor and efficient use of resources onto the next level, and the best way to promote the overall welfare of mankind. To me, you may as well argue that feeding children is a bad idea. I mean, you can come up with arguments certainly... but it is hard to come into an ethic that is based upon correct facts, and internally consistent that does this. I mean, the only thing I can think of as working would be a nationalist-paranoiac notion of society.

But anyway, the real bad idea is nationalism. If you vow to push to abolish the nation and state then I would vote for you.

I do not vote in presidential elections so I will be among the group who smiles and watches all the drama, pondering how many people really believe their vote for president actually counts and how many more believe the president is really in charge. You should try to be a congressman instead.

Is it just me, or the color of your eye changed? :)

Portals to hell for prisoners doesn't sound that bad.

I'm curious to know how would that work?

Given that I also support the death of humanity, does it matter how it would work?

Yes, I got curious about the abolishment of nation, unless I interpreted wrongfully.

A nation is an arbitrary box. How you abolish it is to stop paying attention to it.

It wouldn't matter any vote, unless he gets to be the responsable of humanity destruction, then you should vote for him ;)

Would that mean that immigration would not be an issue anymore, or better said, illegal immigration no longer being illegal?
Well, I think part of this is interesting, the idea of nation being changed, or even abolished, for that there would be a world government, perhaps the west world only, at first. And the idea of nationalism wouldn't make sense anymore, each country becoming a state within the government.

Meh, I wasn't thinking world government so much as anarchism.

Anarchies become feudal societies I would think. The most powerful would draft the less and you'd have little militia areas and all sorts of junk going on in short order.
