Jesus, if you're going to post pictures like that please put a warning in the title of your post. I was very interested in your post and then I scrolled down and the first picture scared the crap outta me. :( I get freaked out very easily. As for the partial abortion thing (which is all I got to before the pictures), I agree if it's probably going to kill the mother, or the baby is going to come out horribly deformed in that case it's the right thing to do.

I couldn't agree more. especially nr3- I am allergic to all Holocaust comparisons, especially those made by pro-lifers and by my fellow vegetarians who can be extremist weirdos too.

To this, you can give a simple retort: "Farmers, unlike Nazis, often feel compelled to feed creatures they are preparing for slaughter."

What are you talking about? They taste good!

You have to cook them properly. That's probably the issue AG ran into. Even so, they're normally too small to make a decent meal out of. I'll stick with eating cows.

I'm unsympathetic to girls who are pregnant when I'm not the father, because they didn't make the right choice of picking me, instead of someone else :P

Who said AD was talking about the trauma for the mother? What about to the kid? It's necessarily assumed that such a child is guaranteed adoption by a loving family, when quite often this isn't the case - especially when said child is not from what many consider to be a desirable ethnic group, not photogenic or otherwise not a "perfect child." Between non-existence with no capacity for thought or emotion by which to perceive such a lack of being and quite possible trauma, which is really the better option?

the better option is the right one.. dealing out life and death in judgement for personal gain is for killers.. and big ego's.
