Scientifically that should've been reversed since it's the women who carry the chromosones for both men and women.

Interesting, a "chicken or the egg" issue.

Since males carry both X & Y, what if a clone were made having the X and a duplicate X from the male genetic material? Would it be more or less difficult to do this versus making a Y chromosome from an X chromosome?

Perhaps the result will be an hermaphrodite, may be that isn't such a bad thing.

It's quite odd that this discussion restricts God to scientific standards since doing so would wipe away the overwhelming bulk of phenomena attributed to God's total control of all events.

well, empiricists would often restrict God to scientific standards, which is something to expect, though I see that the issue has been diverted to discussions about chromosomes, which that wasn't my intention on this thread, but that of theology, regarding scripture, with the issue about monotheism, politheism and the concept of the Trinity.

Admittedly the cosmic venue is more impressive that finding Jesus Christ in a melted cheese sandwich but the principle is the same.

Indeed. BTW, FYI, I was totally being Sarcastic/Jocular by saying it was the "hand of God". The image I posted is actually an X-ray image taken by the orbiting Chandra X-ray telescope. Kinda looks like an X-ray of a hand, huh . But Im telling ya, it wont be long before christian fundamentalists willy be loudly proclaiming it to be the hand of the Lord. :?

This reminds me of the old Star Trek episode: -Who Weeps for Apollo?-
