I'm a 27 year old aspie atheist. I discounted religious belief when I was 8 years old and despite enduring a few existential dilemmas in my ealy teens my (lack of) belief has never wavered!

The existence (or non-existence) of God is totally independent from what you believe. You believe what makes sense to you, which is perfectly reasonable.

I believe that everything we do is an attempt to become closer to the Divine. That something will always fill the void if the straight path of faith is not present.

I relate to the classic texts and poets of the East. The writings of Baha-u-llah and His The Seven Valleys, The Bhagavad Gita, Rumi, Hafez, etc.

Santa, the Tooth Fairy, and Easter Bunny are one and the same. Don't tell anyone! :silent:

NOT!

Santa Claus is Odin in disguise. But in fact the Santa Claus myth originates from Russia where he is AKA Father Frost 8) . Before Europe converted to christianity, Xmas was know as the Yule. It is very much a pagan winter holiday; and recent evidence suggests that Jesus was born in April 8O .

This fairly common knowledge. BTW I was joking about Santa, Easter Bunny, and Tooth Fairy being trinitarian in nature. But these three are personae are bound by the fact that they are completely fictitious.

wha????? 8O

I actually think Marry was raped. Also a nature presenter, David Attinborough, gets death threats via mail, for not recognising Christianity in his shows. He said why would he accept a greater being, that would create a tiny worm, that can only live by feeding on someone's eyeball. And is happening as we speak to children in the 3rd World.

Everything has its place in nature, even if its place is to be a disgusting parasite. Believe it.

Yeah, but I don't believe god created it. Cause I don't believe in god. Even if there is one, or several. I don't agree with a lot of the rules anyway. I hope if there is a god, he sends people like Dubya and Cheney to hell.

Don't forget that Easter originated as the Vernal Equinox. Also, in Ireland, St. Patrick used the shamrock to relate the Holy Trinity to the pagans...and to cover up trinities that exist in pagan practices.

Why cover up pagan trinities?
