one of their bibles is "the virtue of selfishness" written by that harridan.
One of the few circumstances I would encourage book burning.

I would use it for a more personal daily task.

To be fair, I think that the majority of those who voted in the TP genuinely believed they were doing the right thing. If you let yourself be swayed by their effectively designed fear campaigns, the TP message sounds like it is in the best interest of the country.

Religion..and GOD in general has been a lifelong special interest of mine...
I guess I've probably spent at least a full year of pondering..and researching everything associated with IT out of the 53 years of my life...
It IS most amusing to me..in an ironic way...
Now that I understand what IT IS like not to physically be able to experience empathy or any human emotions of significance due to extreme and unrelenting pain for 5 years...
IS that for those individuals that are deficient in empathy and or emotions..there is likely no way..they ever experience the actual sensations of connecting to what I describe as GOD as LOVE and LIGHT..in my own true will opinion...
Which is nothing different than I understand what the historical Jesus was trying to communicate with others..
Simply that BLISS is available now as the kingdom of heaven...not a fairytale to look forward to after death...
Simply eliminating all illusory fears..personal judgement and loving others as one self..but more than any other..learning to love one's self as what one might call GOD...
So the spirit the father..and one becomes ONE....
Well..in effect what I SEE as CHRIST IS THAT SPIRIT OF LOVE AND LIGHT..THE ABSENCE OF ILLUSORY FEARS..PERSONAL JUDGEMENT AGAINST OTHERS...LOVING ONESELF AS ONE...AND ALL OTHERS...
SO..IN EFFECT...the so called religious right..that writes their messages of personal judgement against those less fortunate or biologically blessed...
Are the true in ANTI-CHRIST in TOTAL EFFECT...
But yet they know not what they do...
So as usual..
they..
must be forgiven..2..
Tolerated I guess..and even accepted as challenge more...
But so sad as like the rich guy..they will likely never pass through the eye of the needle..
To come close to feel the bliss of heaven...
That I for ONE...
Feel all the
time...
NOW!
If
ONly
I could
turn them ON...
to ONE...
But NAH...
Some simply are Not
the CHOSEN ones...
for

I
t seems...
SO SADyeah...
so sad..
IS all...
IS
IT
GOD IS Not FAIR
Spirits are not living
EQUAL
in LIGHT OR LOVE..
The poor
are truly those..
WHO live
in darkness and hate...
Oh my GOD that IS where true charity falls..
TO HelP those who are deficient...
IN tHIS LIGHT and LOVE..
The poor..many at least are truly the rich...
The rich..many at least..are truly the POOR..
WHAT IS beLOW IS ACTUALLY ABOVE...

wow :o you're a better more understanding and forgiving man than I.
It is only because I have been to the real place called HELL where there is complete separation from GOD...
There is no lower place to judge anyone from...
Period..
And no right I see to do IT..
As I wished the entire human race away..when I was there....
Even the animals and flowers...
Now that IS sicker than adolph HItler as far as I can see...
So yeah I guess I got to view life as the DEViL incarnate for a little while..
Only a little while thank GOD....
I AM an Angel again...

By Lisa Myers and Hannah Rappleye, NBC News
President Obama repeatedly assured Americans that after the Affordable Care Act became law, people who liked their health insurance would be able to keep it. But millions of Americans are getting or are about to get cancellation letters for their health insurance under Obamacare, say experts, and the Obama administration has known that for at least three years.
Four sources deeply involved in the Affordable Care Act tell NBC News that 50 to 75 percent of the 14 million consumers who buy their insurance individually can expect to receive a “cancellation” letter or the equivalent over the next year because their existing policies don’t meet the standards mandated by the new health care law. One expert predicts that number could reach as high as 80 percent. And all say that many of those forced to buy pricier new policies will experience “sticker shock.”
None of this should come as a shock to the Obama administration. The law states that policies in effect as of March 23, 2010 will be “grandfathered,” meaning consumers can keep those policies even though they don’t meet requirements of the new health care law. But the Department of Health and Human Services then wrote regulations that narrowed that provision, by saying that if any part of a policy was significantly changed since that date -- the deductible, co-pay, or benefits, for example -- the policy would not be grandfathered.
...
Yet President Obama, who had promised in 2009, “if you like your health plan, you will be able to keep your health plan,” was still saying in 2012, “If [you] already have health insurance, you will keep your health insurance.”
“This says that when they made the promise, they knew half the people in this market outright couldn’t keep what they had and then they wrote the rules so that others couldn’t make it either,” said Robert Laszewski, of Health Policy and Strategy Associates, a consultant who works for health industry firms. Laszewski estimates that 80 percent of those in the individual market will not be able to keep their current policies and will have to buy insurance that meets requirements of the new law, which generally requires a richer package of benefits than most policies today.
...
Those getting the cancellation letters are often shocked and unhappy.
George Schwab, 62, of North Carolina, said he was "perfectly happy" with his plan from Blue Cross Blue Shield, which also insured his wife for a $228 monthly premium. But this past September, he was surprised to receive a letter saying his policy was no longer available. The "comparable" plan the insurance company offered him carried a $1,208 monthly premium and a $5,500 deductible.
And the best option he’s found on the exchange so far offered a 415 percent jump in premium, to $948 a month.
"The deductible is less," he said, "But the plan doesn't meet my needs. Its unaffordable."
"I'm sitting here looking at this, thinking we ought to just pay the fine and just get insurance when we're sick," Schwab added. "Everybody's worried about whether the website works or not, but that's fixable. That's just the tip of the iceberg. This stuff isn't fixable."
Heather Goldwater, 38, of South Carolina, is raising a new baby while running her own PR firm. She said she received a letter last July from Cigna, her insurance company, that said the company would no longer offer her individual plan, and promised to send a letter by October offering a comparable option. So far, she hasn't received anything.
"I'm completely overwhelmed with a six-month-old and a business,” said Goldwater. “The last thing I can do is spend hours poring over a website that isn't working, trying to wrap my head around this entire health care overhaul."
Goldwater said she supports the new law and is grateful for provisions helping folks like her with pre-existing conditions, but she worries she won’t be able to afford the new insurance, which is expected to cost more because it has more benefits. "I'm jealous of people who have really good health insurance," she said. "It's people like me who are stuck in the middle who are going to get screwed."
Richard Helgren, a Lansing, Mich., retiree, said he was “irate” when he received a letter informing him that his wife Amy's $559 a month health plan was being changed because of the law. The plan the insurer offered raised his deductible from $0 to $2,500, and the company gave him 17 days to decide.
The higher costs spooked him and his wife, who have painstakingly planned for their retirement years. "Every dollar we didn't plan for erodes our standard of living," Helgren said.
Ulltimately, though Helgren opted not to shop through the ACA exchanges, he was able to apply for a good plan with a slightly lower premium through an insurance agent.
He said he never believed President Obama’s promise that people would be able to keep their current plans.
"I heard him only about a thousand times," he said. "I didn't believe him when he said it though because there was just no way that was going to happen. They wrote the regulations so strictly that none of the old polices can grandfather."
For months, Laszewski has warned that some consumers will face sticker shock. He recently got his own notice that he and his wife cannot keep their current policy, which he described as one of the best, so-called "Cadillac" plans offered for 2013. Now, he said, the best comparable plan he found for 2014 has a smaller doctor network, larger out-of-pocket costs, and a 66 percent premium increase.
“Mr. President, I like the coverage I have," Laszweski said. "It is the best health insurance policy you can buy."

New York doctors are treating ObamaCare like the plague, a new survey reveals.
A poll conducted by the New York State Medical Society finds that 44 percent of MDs said they are not participating in the nation’s new health-care plan.
Another 33 percent say they’re still not sure whether to become ObamaCare providers.
Only 23 percent of the 409 physicians queried said they’re taking patients who signed up through health exchanges.
“This is so poorly designed that a lot of doctors are afraid to participate,” said Dr. Sam Unterricht, president of the 29,000-member organization. “There’s a lot of resistance. Doctors don’t know what they’re going to get paid.”
Three out of four doctors who are participating in the program said they “had to participate” because of existing contractual obligations with an insurer or medical provider, not because they wanted to.
Only one in four “affirmatively” chose to sign up for the exchanges.
Nearly eight in 10 — 77 percent — said they had not been given a fee schedule to show much they’ll get paid if they sign up.

would you prefer the republicare plan which has no health benefits to speak of, but does have a real death benefit- if you are too poor to afford exorbitantly-priced American health care, you are free to die, at no charge.

If the policies are cancelled, then it is because they don't meet minimum requirements. There used to be a lot of plans that did not cover emergency care. Or hospitalization. Or cover cancer. Or cover auto accidents. If the plan didn't cover the minimums, it goes away. I don't think this should be a surprise to anyone. If a company does offers a product that does not meet minimum regulations, it will not be allowed to continue to offer that product.

get ready then, it's about to get worse
Dude..when you get a little older..maybe have kids..I don't know if you have that planned or not..
And if you get your wish and Obamacare gets cancelled perhaps life will teach you a little lesson...
My wife and I were doing great..both of us employed...so were the folks across the street in my neighborhood...
We gained something in common..my wife and I had an extremely sick child born with multiple congenital anomalies at birth...
So did the neighbors across the street...
Both our bills ranged in the area of a third to a half a million dollars...
Our child died..their child lived...
But to keep their child alive with proper health care...they ended up having to let their house go back to the mortgage company and ruin their credit for future
subsistence requirements..just because his wife had a small lapse in insurance coverage...at her job..before she went into labor...
Life teaches folks lessons..people without true empathy don't give a s**t about this kind of stuff..until it hits their loved ones..and their pocket books...
In the capriciousness of life that IS..with the unexpected casualties..of reality...
My bill ended up being $1500..instead of over 300K...
The end result is I AM financially independent by midlife..
Without insurance I would have been bankrupt...
and never gained financial independence...to get out of that debt...
My wife and I eat out almost every night..and she shops almost everyday..
Putting money back into the economy...
Bankrupt folks..can't do s**t...
In actuality..health insurance will make the country stronger...
As people will have more money to spend in the economy...
Overall..
Not only that..but stress kills..and having a do or die situation to stay...
at a stressful job just because it offers health care is a silent killer too..
There are so many contingencies that improve with this new health care bill law that are not...
even talked about..in the news by democrats....
But these folks are not social scientists...either...for the most part...
Human beings always are more productive when they are healthy...
There is no question about that..
And people who avoid checkups at the doctor..are always more likely to die..overall...
Fall seriously ill..or avoid medication that can prevent permanent disability...
The nation is suffering now more than ever...
Simply because people do not receive preventative medical care from doctors...
The health care act.. will gradually change this..and yeah obviously nothing that the government does is not without challenges...
and mistakes...
But to do nothing was no option..and no one else provided an option that could make it through a vote...
It's the best thing we have...complaining about It ...is simply silly..at this point..as IT IS A DONE DEAL NOW...
The republicans are just making brownie points in their respective constituencies..but the END RESULT OF GOVERNMENT SHUT DOWNS...
AND RIDICULOUS FIGHTS OVER DONE DEALS..IS A DEMOCRATIC ADMINISTRATION..IN THE EXECUTIVE BRANCH FROM NOW ON....
So in other words...this is ALL ULTIMATELY WORKING TO THE ADVANTAGE OF THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY...EVERY FIGHT AGAINST..THE COMMON
MAN'S NEEDS...IS EVENTUAL LOSS FOR THE REPUBLICAN PARTY...
EVEN in states that do not comply..with this opportunity for their common constituencies..where one day even the house of representatives may be dominated by democrats..just because IT IS THE ONLY WAY TO GET KEEP YOUR FRIGGING HOUSE IF YOU GET REALLY REALLY SICK..OR SOMEONE YOU LOVE IN YOUR FAMILY....
THIS AIN'T A DETAIL DEAL ..IT IS A BIG PICTURE... REAL LIFE... OVER THE COURSE OF A FULL LIFE DEAL...
BUT YEAH THE YOUNG AND THE BLINDLY INVINCIBLE DON'T SEE THIS KIND OF STUFF OBVIOUSLY UNTIL THE WETNESS DRIES BEHIND THEIR EARS...
WAIT UNTIL YOU GET A LITTLE OLDER..YOU'LL LIKELY SEE WHAT I MEAN BY THIS NOW..IF YOU CANNOT NOW....
AND yeah every time I hear a so called Christian Republican talk about taking away this health care program for folks like the ones i knew across the street...
I think..if there is evil..there IT IS...

It's just right wing spin to get brownie points from local evangelistic type Christian folks..in general..that IS..
This is the law as voted on..It's no secret that It was this WAY or is this WAY now...
So the talk show hosts did not read the law...no big surprise there....
The law overall protects people..but no.. of course IT is not perfect..no law is perfect..otherwise we would not need lawyers..
to analyze laws as they have currently been written..some for over two hundred years...
I quit watching the news a long time ago..because politics is just like a soap opera..IT's completely predictable...and you can go back two years..later and the same s**t is going on...
The similar folks that take IT seriously are potential soap opera fans...hehe...
Health care is a done deal now..republicans are just playing brownie points games at this point...
For clarification this is not a counterpoint to your comment..just amplification..of the general discussion....
