I'm curious as to what other topics you would find too serious to discuss.

If someone was say arguing in favor of their said race being superior, or advocating for murder of a particular group of people. I would say the subject matter may be too serious to discuss all it does is it disturbs the other person and in most cases accomplishes nothing. If you discuss those sorts of issues with others you are also listening and treating the other person with respect I dont think that is neccessarily a good idea as it creates the impression that the other side's point of view is worth listening and respecting.

Really, there comes a point where the view itself is disrespectful. You just can't dress some things up with nice words. Not in the real world where there are real consequences to certain beliefs.

This is literally how terrorism happens, people so convinced of their rightness that "extreme measures" are warranted.

Just wait until your family is threatened. It's so easy to talk like this when you are not directly in harms way.

If Oswald Mosley or some other white supremacist was going to be Prime Minister I seriously think someone may have to point the gun and shoot for the good of the country.

How about saving children? If you knew, for a fact, that someone was a budding Adam Lanza, about to murder several dozen children, would that justify murdering that person? Now, remember that to anti-abortion people, I've just described a doctor who provides abortions, and that they believe that they're just as righteous as you are in their beliefs. What makes killing abortion doctors any different than killing a white supremacist? Are you that certain of your righteousness? Do you even think it would do any good, or would you just create a martyr?

Back to the original question. Evidently not yet.

The administration knew that they were banning refugees from entering the US on Holocaust Remembrance Day, seeing as they released a statement about it that people also don't like. The reports I read took issue with the lack of any mention of Jews in the statement. When asked for clarification, the response was not drafted by Bannon and listed all the groups sent to concentration camps.

The only thing ISIS members have done is believe the wrong thing. They believe they are doing good. Should we stop bombing them and try to have a discussion instead? Maybe we can convert them?

I don't think violent reactions are so much a matter of personal "moral righteousness" as they are an instinct of self-preservation. It isn't rational to be "tolerant" of people who will impose harm on you.

No Isis is different. We need to bomb them to prevent them from doing further harm. I am not the sort that believes people deserve harm or pain I think humanity must take action against groups like Isis because if we don't the effects will be devastating.

Murder of an abortion doctor is wrong because it is against law and ultimately achieves little. The first two scenarios are different as in both of them their are better ways in dealing with the problem.

Terrorism on the government level on the other hand can be justified. Take this hypothetical scenario for example. Stay a terrorist murdered Stalin in the 1940s it would be good as it would allow for a more moderate leader like Kruschev to take power.

I said this before. Richard Spencer is not running for president he doesn't have the power to destroy lives so action against him is not warranted. Punching someone in the face only inflicts pain on this guy and makes the other side look like aggressors what good does it do?

Seemingly.

Nobody likes a fisker.

Infinitely preferable to walls of text.

Hell, I hate fisking, and I use it all the time, it just sucks to do and to respond to, but there's no other way to respond when multiple things need addressing.

And especially when multiple things need addressing within chaotic, run-on sentences.

Fisking is the best tool we have to counter the written equivalent of the Gish Gallop. I suspect that people most opposed to it are fully aware of how weak their arguments are.

This immigration ban is so biased it is ridiculous. It reminds me of when Bush II said there were reasons to invade Iraq.

The ban has to do with countries with active jihadist movements linked to isis stopping entry for a couple months is not extreme or unprecedented , banning Iran probably wasn't necessary however. People caught in transit are a temporary problem, Trump said this is what he was going to do all along and that we need to create a system of extreme vetting which was inadequate under Obama.

Extreme vetting for what? Religious extremism or just immigration in general. The problem with Trump is he isn't predictable. I have no idea what he will do next. It seems like some of his fans want to stop immigration completely out of irrational fear. He could destroy my life, given my current circumstances with my wife trying to immigrate.

Also, his blanket executive order is now screwing over more people who are VICTIMS of Islamic extremism. He is screwing over people who worked for the US military in Iraq. He is screwing over Christians, Yazidis, atheists, liberal Muslims, etc... People ISIS wants to kill. He thinks he's fighting terrorism by terrorizing people who have nothing to do with the goddamn extremists.

It's also fairly unsurprising that countries whose citizens are known terrorist financiers have been left off, notably all those places where Trump has properties.
