I agree 100%. I think they are both tearing this country apart.

1000% agreed.
The stupid hyperpartisan BS, on both sides, are destroying America, and the totalitarian governments are laughing.

I suggest they stop the hate.

I think things have to be better with fresh competent blood in the Whitehouse.
Another 3 years of this circus is shocking to think about, however.

BTW, I want Trump to be out of politics altogether, but he would have handled Afghanistan better, imo.

Well, the American people voted Biden in.
Now they have to wear it. 8)

:wall:

The consequence of putting a person in the presidency simply because he is not Trump.

The American Political Circus continues.

Unfortunately you're right. Choosing between Trump and Biden was like choosing between being burned alive or drowning to death. We had no good choices for leadership and that's exactly why America Is ****ed.

Well that and the fact that many Americans on both the right and left side of politics have turned into a bunch of selfish stupid and mean-spirited pricks who are more interested in hurting the other side than they are in trying to actually fix this country.

What we are going through is exactly why I believe in this thing called 'The Horseshoe Theory' when it comes to politics It's like during and after World War 2 when Germany got torn in half by both Fascists AND Communists.

That's basically what America is going through right now. The GOP is embracing fascism while the so-called Progressives are pushing for communism.

And both parties can deny it or twist words all they want. It is what it is. We've all seen this sort of thing happen to other countries in the past and it never ends well.

What are some examples of GOP fascism?

Right now, the US could certainly do with a good, strong, leader, that’s for sure.

Problem with that is that the current oligarchical system that we employ in the US prevents us from having strong or effective leadership at any level.

It's the old "divide and conquer" tactic that the ruling class has utilized forever.

At no point have I ever "loved" Biden. I just felt he was slightly less likely than Dump to trigger WW3.

What I want is for an actual left-wing party in America, not the Democrats who are just left of the Republicans, but still right of center.

I do not agree with you politically but I agree with you about this.

Did anyone actually want Biden, or did they just want Trump gone? I can understand a vote against Trump, but I don't know who Biden would have appealed to in a vacuum, the man's whole pitch was not being Trump.

Yes I would have voted for the proverbial dog catcher over Trump.

I never even liked him to be honest, but he is much better than the alternative. I would have been happier with Sanders in office, but our system won't allow that to happen.

We're caught up in a vicious cycle. We got rid of Trump, but now we have a person who is part of the systemic problem that led to Trump.

100 percent in agreement. The anger and frustration just continues to build with the election of leaders with such extreme/opposing views

No, I don't like him and want him out and especially with the way he has mishandled several situations. The situation in Afghanistan, Texas, the building collapse and now New Orleans. If you notice, his mental health is declining. He's blurting out inappropriate things on camera and looks like he is out of it. Other reasons, he has a history of disrespecting people's personal space and inappropriate comments.

I have also lost hope in Harris as vice president as she has given one lie after the other. It's my understanding that behind the rolling cameras, she's not a nice person.

The next Trump will most likely be more polished and competent. Scary indeed.

By that do you mean socialist progressives? They have never been able to get their act together in the US.

When will Biden answer some questions about Afghanistan?

Again, Trump had worked out the deal with the Taliban, and would have left Afghans there whose lives are now in danger. In fact, he'd be screaming about how all the Afghan refugees were terrorists, as he's doing now. Not making me think Trump could do better.
