I don't think so. If anything, the big goth/emo trend
toward bisexuality is what helped more than anything.
Really, back then, people were pretty much one or
the other - if you couldn't seem straight, it wasn't worth
being hated by everyone.

No, Richard, I don't think it works that way. Your orientation is given in your genetic code, it's not a nurture thing, unless maybe if ALL the people who tormented you were female.

In that case, if a guy is tormented by females mostly in his chilhood including his mother, he will grow to be a real mysoginist, most mysoginist are straight. Or maybe a psychopath, developing an antisocial behaviour towards women, I suppose.


You're right. But sexual orientation is still something you're born with.
