I read in your last few posts a dramatic appeal to emotion. That the populace should be so sympathetic to a grieving father that it should allow his recommendations for oppressive tyranny to go unopposed.

And that's simply not a valid view. I don't give a s**t if he lost five daughters, that doesn't give him the right to demand that other daughters are endangered.

Damned near every act of tyranny can be traced to an appeal to emotion.

Oppressive tyranny? One grieving father making a statement and seeking answers?
Oh dear God that's almost laughable. Sadly, you are serious and that's just tragic.

I'm done.

Notice how you present no logical argument in that post or any of the others.

Here's the actual video, not the one fraudulently edited by your friends at MSNBC:

HOLY s**t LOOK AT THAT HECKLING.

We'd better ban guns, those people are clearly nuts. They actually disagree with us! How dare they.

And yet you've clearly stated, and I've highlighted the specific part to help, an emotional counter argument? That makes sense....

@JBlitzen: Again, had you bothered reading what I wrote, you would see that I actually criticised the first video (the one I linked as a WP post) because of a very poor edit which appeared to be attempting to construct the case that he was heckled. I said that the audio before the supposed heckling occurred should have been preserved, because without that it wasn't possible to see the full event and properly judge.

The second video, the first you linked, addressed that and it's now perfectly clear that he'd paused in his statement and asked a rhetorical question - the shouting was in response to that, and it was this which wasn't clear in the first video. I even referenced the approximate timing in your first linked video at which the cut in the earlier video occurred.
And now you link another video which essentially shows the same thing - the events occurring shortly before he turned to look at the people shouting and gestured, saying "Allright".

Even seeing the full event, I still don't consider this as heckling, in the strictest sense, because he'd paused and posed that question.
So, you can get off your conspiracy horse now.

You'll note that after the shouting, the chairman says "Please, no comments while Mr. Heslin is speaking", attempting to restore order to the proceedings so clearly, the shouting was an unwelcome intrusion.

What you miss, again, and spectacularly, as being such an inappropriately timed and insensitive, selfish thing to shout - I am not going to bother explaining again.
I doubt it would pass those special "from my cold, dead hands" blinkers you seem to be wearing.

He demanded answers and he received them.

Get off your high horse.

When you have people talking about events that are emotional in nature (and when it's the parents of those killed), they really should disallow interruptions and interjections until a specific question and answer session (which should be held at a latter date so as people can compile their responses adequately and go through with all the research), not while people are reading a statement (make it a point of entry to comply to this).

It's fair and compassionate for all.

I know I wouldn't want to talk think about answering questions when I'm giving a statement on the event that led to the death of someone I loved, and especially confrontational ones. I'm sure no one would.

There's other stuff that should be in the news that goes ignored by most of our media.

So the living should take prevalence over the dead? Three separate events, all with fatalities.

What do you mean? The needs of dead people are not a priority. I don't know what went wrong with the link I posted, but did you look it up?

It should be abundantly clear by now that J-Greens is a gun hater.

I don't know that he hates guns.

I think people like him actually hate people. And because they hate people, they assume that people also hate them.

The gun thing is just a manifestation of their hatred and fear.

Or maybe fear is all there is, lack of self worth manifesting as fear which itself manifests as an irrational desire to radically disempower everyone.

I have a book on the psychology of the liberal mindset that I've been putting off reading, I should probably get it out.

Whatever, but in effect it boils down to gun hating which is a mental deficiency in itself.
