Yeah, no problem. Sorry if I seemed a little harsh. I'm used to dealing with people here who are a bit more intransigent.

Trump says a study backs up his claims of voter fraud. It is a real study, and it really does talk about people being registered in more than one location. It notes that voter registration systems at the time of the study were archaic, paper based, and overwhelmed. People move much more frequently than they did 50 years ago, and the old systems can't keep up. The author of the study does not consider this evidence of fraud, since most of the people just moved and registered in their new location, like Ivanka Trump. Others, like Steve Bannon, sent a message to the voter registrar, and still did not get removed from the old voter rolls.

It's not evidence of fraud. It's evidence of a problem, and the study has spurred some change over the past election cycle. It simply does not say what Trump claims it does.

No, of course you didn't use those exact words ("the sky is falling"), but your saying "Well this is B.S, I guess science and facts are 'offensive' to the trump administration.", when your own link said the order had already been rescinded, was as-good-as, IMO, because any cause for alarm, had already PASSED. I mean, look it, you had sheeple on this thread, who didn't read the article, EITHER, following-along right behind you.

Also, this business of "things so far aren't looking 'better' under trump", is seemingly throwing-out the baby with the bath water and is RIDICULOUS, IMO----ESPECIALLY, since he did NOT send the order, and you would've known that, had you read your own link!!

You are WRONG! It has been SEVEN DAYS since Trump took office! Seven whole days! My God, God was able to create and entire universe in less time! And only idiots waste time reading articles - sensationalism and gossip is the way to go with theses matters.

From a psychological perspective, it just doesn't seem likely that so many people would be motivated to vote illegally. For Christ's sake, It's hard enough to motivate poor people to vote legally. Really, how many people have time for the hassle of registering and voting in multiple states? Or registering and voting under the names of dead people? I could see it happening if there was money involved - I mean if people got money from voting - but there is no such motive.

What I see as more likely is mass vote tampering, and Republicans have been found GUILTY of this before.

If the Mexicans had spent as much effort as it would take to register illegally, they could have each gotten three legal voters to the polls.

Wouldn't fear of deportation under Trump be a sufficient motive?

Perhaps Trump will get hoisted by his own petard.

They should have kept Obama out of office in 2012 then

So apparently Trump is already derailing the ACA....But still hasn't announced a replacement?

I just heard a political commentator confidently proclaim that Trump can't warp reality and change what was true three months ago, but I'm not so sure.

I am so crushed. I just realized that Hunter S. Thompson died too soon.
I feel better. There is a Ricky Gervais, and he is on GMA this morning. Looking forward to this.

Also, the Fetus March is getting a lot of coverage.

I keep thinking about Hunter S Thompson having died too soon as well. I'd love to read about all this political s#!t from his perspective. The thing is that I would have hated Thompson had I lived anywhere near him. Blowing up crap and shooting guns all the time. The man had a serious a$$h*le side to him, but I still admire him for his writing and politics. Anyone know of any writers currently alive that are half as interesting as Thompson?

I'm planning to buy Insane Clown President, Matt Taibbi's compiled campaign trail coverage. I don't expect a Great Shark Hunt, but maybe.
