Perhaps you're right, but anyway, how's Ireland today?
Not too much buggery over there, eh?

Ireland is fine. Rich. Wet. Boring.

Plenty of buggery I'm sure but not where I'm sitting.

Ireland's rich? Really? I didn't know that.
I swear I've never heard of any gay irish;
they must be invisible like the leprechauns.

Ireland's GDP (nominal) per capita is higher than the GDP per capita of the US.

You know, sexual orientation is not the only measure of a man's righteousness. There are so many other ways in which a man can reject sin or embrace it. Need I point out that homosexuality and Christianity can occur within one individual?

I'm just tired of all the animosity and ill will. :(

What happens when science adapts that homosexuality is genetic?
Will you preach monkhood onto gay men?
Eh, too late.

Sorry if that was insulting, I didn't mean it to be.
I always liked the Irish. It's really hard to get citizenship there, isn't it?

If gay monks are able to keep their vows of celibacy, then why not? If they are honestly and completely dedicated to living the monastic life, why not?

Could you imagine the scenario of a hermitage of gay monks?
They wouldn't be praying.

However, many of them would be kneeling :P

(I know I shouldn't have said that)

Monks take vows of celibacy. If the hermitage was in fact a house of carnal delight, these guys would not be very good monks. They would be putting their own pleasure before God. To be a monk, a man needs to have self-discpline. Monks do not particpate in sexuality of any kind because that's part of what they are.

Does the sex-drive of a gay man preclude him from doing anything but satisfying his libido?

Actually, monks do. I've known a few, hehe.
And gay sex was only allowed between the times of 2-4pm everyday
so they could keep up with their other duties.

I like wordplay just fine, but I don't see the sense in reinforcing a negatative stereotype about your own people. Doesn't do you any favours. But in the end, you are as God made you. This is nothing personal, this is not me judging you.

Honestly I'm pandering to your decision to use repetition in hopes of convertion.
When you stop, I stop.

In time, consider me your mime.
