the people who spout "trickle down" know to a person it is a cruel sham inflicted on the 99%, NOTHING ever trickles down to the common folk except for rain and woes, and the 1% know this and have rigged this to be this way, while laughing up their sleeves at us and our gullible stupidity ( "I can't believe those fools actually believe our patent lies!" :lmao: ), the tools among the 99% who play into this don't really care one way or the other because they are all convinced they too will join the 1% and leave the rest of us slobs behind in the gutter, "the devil take the hindmost."

why shouldn't the poor get free health care also?

In the US, they already do.

It's called "Medicaid".

The question is , why would they pay 8.4% in new taxes for something they already get free?

Are there any people who are paid too much to qualify fof Medicaid yet not enough to afford health insurance (either personally or through their employer)?

the latter effectively have NO checks and balances. our POTUS is a prime example.

yes, the Medicaid gap exists in the majority of states which have not 1]raised their minimum wage from $7.25/hour, and 2] extended their state Medicaid beyond 100% of poverty level, presently $11k/year.

Politicians have checks and balances in your country but in some countries they have free reign.

Surely you could invent a better economic model than them!

The flag bearer, Bernie Sanders suggested raising taxes on poor and middle class people by 8.4% to pay for free health care, when most already get totally or nearly free health care.

If their taxes went up by 8.4%, what percentage of their income would that be?

still markedly less than a typical middle-aged barebones insurance premium, I know this for a fact.

but at least the democrats throw us commoners a crumb now and then, totally unlike the GOP who just craps on us working classers left and right and center and surround. you think that billionaires' tax cut will filter down to you? not when companies have been buying back their stock rather than hire more workers or pay their existing workers a penny more.

A poisoned crumb. Right does the same for middle class so what’s the point? I’ll take a pro constitutional party over a anti constitution party any day.
I’m working class disabled person and left does nothing but crap on me. The tax cuts also cut middle class people’s taxes. I don’t pay taxes never had. I don’t make enough. So no tax cuts don’t help me but they helped my friends family and coworkers. Mean while the left in my state just wants to double tax us tax tax tax tax ban guns and tax more seems to be the only words democrats know.
Gas tax well let’s keep it and add mile tax. Let’s keep income tax and add sales taxe.
Know what’ll hurt me? Sales tax I won’t bwanna able to eat anymore and I’ll starve to death yay Democrats. They taxed weed which should have gave out state a surplus but instead they just spent more so we still went more negative yay Democrats. Democrats are ruining my state and want to ban guns. They ruined California they ruined Detroit they ruined Chicago. Don’t let them ruin the whole nation

What will taxing me and other employees to death so anything against companies? Democrats bail out companies that screw over their customers and employees they let companies evade taxes. Democrats bailed out the banks after they screwed us over and so didn’t have money. I still owe the bank but guess what Democrats wiped that debt out so the bank owes nothing. That’s the party you support the party so bribed by the rich they don’t give one s**t about us poor people. Freak the democrat party I hope it burns to the ground maybe then we can have other parties who maybe actually give a crap about people.

I’m so tired of billionaire Democrats thinking thru know what’s best for us and so they need to force us to do as they want. No thanks I’d rather die

Except they don’t. They prefer we do what we want as that makes them money. Haven’t seen the right pushing to ban foods, drinks, transportation, guns, control what we can and can’t say, creat “free speech” zones, etc

they try to pass laws against LGBT people, they try to circumvent or outright prevent our citizen's right to unionize, they lash us to "do not compete agreements" that prevent us from finding other jobs, this is just the tip of the iceberg in terms of how they try to restrict us.
