Don't get smart with me. A knife is more versatile than just killing or wounding.

No, it doesn't.
But it could make you a potential killer, wether it is intentional, by accident or suicide.

So is a gun: it is fun for target practice and can help teach physics. Wounding is wrong, make sure what you hit you kill. Are you against hunting as well?

Here is my final solution to all you gun lobby rednecks: The government should have a 3 month gun amnesty where EACH AND EVERY PERSON has the chance to hand in their weapons. They can receive less than market value because they are considered a non-necessary tool. After that amnesty, then the police and armed forces can under government order do a house to house search for any weapons not handed in, regardless of whether they were legally obtained or not. All said weapons either handed in or confiscated will be melted down as scrap, and recycled to be used for other more useful purposes. Failure to comply with this would mean a mandatory prison term of no less than 5 years. I personally don't give a flying f**k if you think this is taking away your 'rights', what about the rights of civilians who choose to walk the streets safely, without fear of being shot? f**k the 2nd amendment, and f**k the gun lobby. They have had too much say in modern society as it is. It's time for some serious action, and you sheep-like morons who follow the NRA dogma had better start to get with the program. Life is paramount here, not your right to be ignorant trigger-happy Rambos. If you want to shoot, join the army, otherwise shut the f**k up.

War, 2nd amendment, the inability to reason with people, close-minded views on everything including religion, arrogance, insular thinking, misogyny seem to be inbred into your culture.
