Greetings, fellow believers!
I am a Christian aspie also. My beliefs seem to be pretty much along the same line as Bland. I also consieder myself a friend of Israel (sort of Jewish by adoption, as the Good Book tells us). I also believe in the present day workings of the Holy Spirit, both with and without our help. Basically, God is Who He says He is, and He can do whatever He wants; it's His universe any way:)

I love the Idea of a Christian aspies forum or site. My husband & I have been to many churches, but most in our neck of the woods tend to believe in telling God how to run His church; we tried to set a few of them straight, but most just offered us the left foot of fellowship. (some of these no longer exist today) We are once again "churchless", but still strong believers.

As for religion being logical, I'm a very logical person (masters in math double BA in math & philosophy) But all my philosophizing just got me confused. Grew up catholic, quit to be a new ager in my college days; but this left me more screwed up than ever. Things got really spooky spiritual in a bad way, right before I met my future hubby, who, along with many grad school friend, showed mr the way of the gospel more clearly. CHristianity makes more sense than anything I've ever tried (and believe me I tried alot of thing). I was never able to stick with anything for very long, but Jesus has stuck "closer than a brother" for almost 20 years now. I wouldn't trade Him for the world:)

Sorry for the long post; just felt the need to introduce the real me.

You're best off keeping religion as a matter of faith.

The bible and christianity is packed full of logical inconsistancies.
