i just saw the movie! it was awesome!! ! i totally loved it. and I'm going to see it again tomorrow.

They did a really good job of including all the conspiracy's related to 2012. except they missed the one about the planet nabari. but that one would not have fit with this plot.

it was a very believable film as well. they added alot of real facts. like the one about the sun throwing out a massive solar flare around 2012 . although NASA has moved that prediction forward to around 2010 or 11. Obviously they took these facts and ran with them making them much more exciting. but i would expect nothing less in any movie based in fiction.

I highly recommend this film!

I can't bring myself to do it. I'm just too sore from this whole superstitious/pseudoscientific hysteria that prompted it. Ugh.

the neutrino part was not real but the solar flare part is. here , ill give you a link to the nasa web site , you can see for yourself.

I'm the opposite. thats one reason why i love this film so much. its based in myth and lore . they take that and turn it into one big disaster film. i really liked it. i think it could have been a bit more serious, frightening and suspenseful. but other then that i thought it was just as good as the previews portrayed it.

I would put it in the same category as the movie volcano and deep impact.

They throw some facts in to make it seem like reality and then they turn it into something that is fiction.

I personally like the idea of 2012. but i don't think it will happen the way they said. i think if the solar flairs are really bad we might be with out wp for a few months . but i guess that would be the end of the word for me. :lol:

I think they are preparing most of the systems to withstand this. it wont effect humans at all. infact these solar flares have been this bad in the past. its just that we did not have electrical equipment that was sensitive to the effects of it.
