You appear to be giving me far too much credit, not my work I am sorry to say.

I was including your citation of another source as you showing something. I know you didn't create the video.

My index finger fits in perfectly in my nostril. *looks around for god, while finger engages the nostril*

That's actually an extremely convenient design feature.

The fact that from Earth the Moon is about the same relative size as the Sun permitted Einstein´s theory of general relativity to be tested. During the eclipse the light from the sun was blocked and it was possible to verify the gravitational effects of the Sun on the light of other stars. That is clearly a sign that the universe was created by design and the Creator made it so fit that we could advance our knowledge of the universe. I´m just kidding, I´m a atheist! :) (I´m a atheist please don´t tell me to stick my finger...)

The moon currently subtends the same area as the sun. It was not always thus. At one time the Moon was only 90,000 miles from earth and covered a quarter of the night sky. A million years hence total eclipses of the sun will be no more, since the moon is moving away from earth.

We caught a lucky break being able to measure light bending using a solar eclipse. By the way, that test of General Relativity can now be done without eclipses. We can see gravitational lensing done by distant galaxies.

So much for you proof of Design.

Yeah, jc6chan said "these are very similar! SO TAKE THAT!! !!". You actually tried an argument where I can see how the issue could be of value.

I don't need to defend my lack of faith, religion just doesn't bring me comfort, and what is used to justify religion and the acts of man done in the name of it,or the social structure and suffering of those who don't deserve to suffer.I couldn't see an omnipotent divine being let this go unchecked considering how he laid the smackdown in the old testament and now he became a wimp that or he is malevolent. That and its not backed of by logic, reason or science. Also how the moon and the sun appear in the sky affects nothing they still have the same force and power over the earth.

One last question: Do you actually believe in that crap you said?

How about we count the amount of threads/posts, where one acts like they know more than the other, and post as if to proove they are somehow intellectualy superior, regardless of sides? :D I wander which one does it more around here?

well, I know that I know better because I am superior in intelect, race, gender, sexual orientation, religion or lack of it, etc. than you.

Anyway, it came to my mind at the time that the OP may have been sarcastic, however, as it looks now, it doesn't seem so, and well, I think I am a strident anticreationist. And the argument is bad, however he could have made it in another way that could have sounded better than that, such as using the existence of the moon rather than our perceptions of the same size with the sun, imho. Although that wouldn't do much either.

The dying isn't really the problem. If you go to paradise anyway when you die, then it just isn't an issue. What concerns me is the suffering.

Also the rules that determine who suffers and who goes to paradise.Sure there are a few good ones but there are a lot of bad ones.I think something a lot people forget about atheists if just because we don't believe in a god that we are hedonistic heathens with no moral\ethics or a sense of right or wrong and that's just ignorant, and judgmental which shows a lack of intelligence.
