If that's where they want to be married, then what's the problem? I have a friend (who is an atheist) who recently got married in a courthouse. As far as the law is concerned, she is no less married to her husband than those gay couples who were married in a church are married to each other.
Well, it's not a problem per se. Just an ironic choice, though certain sects of Christianity are more open minded than others. As long as the law does not compel a church to provide the service because a church should have the right to refuse to do it on religious principle then there is no problem as long as gays use a church that will agree to it.
This could have been a good topic for civil discussion if it hadn't veered so far off topic.
