If it wasn't religion, it would be something else. Though it doesn't sound as though Christian fundamentalism was a deciding factor. I think he was just a nutjob - a very intelligent one, but there are loads of those on the Internet.

when I clicked to read the next page of comments there was an error that said the video had been removed for violating the rules of service.

pretty sure it's already up on pirate bay or somewhere though.

What's slightly amusing is that the video includes a claim that no copyrighted material was used. As if that's the worst of his problems. But I can see a splash screen that I believe is copyrighted. Not that spree killers are noted for honesty.

It's pretty creepy. He's trying to encourage others to become "Justiciar Knights" and even lists in detail what equipment they should use. Overall, it's reads like a computer game strategy guide, including a list of proposed medals depending upon on your performance as a nutcase.

The worst of it is that the reporting is going to make people read that stuff and some nutcases over the world may actually fall in it.

But anyway, we don't censor Mein Kampf, so I guess we shall hope that mankind is not so full of nutjobs.

Considering hes only 32 a 21 year prison sentence isnt a death sentence, wich he deserves.
he will get out one day, all those dead people cant do anything now. atleast he gets to live some sort of life

He'll never get out. They have a type of indefinite hold they can place him on.

He writes in his manifesto that you should plant supply caches of weapons so that if you escape, you can kill more. He is not getting out.

I hope religion is not the deciding factor in such cases. my guess in this case would be that fame is his 72 virgins. he must know that he's just done a huge disservice to his cause, religious or political or whatever. just my guess though.
