People who deny God are bound to lose. Why? Because most of the human race is scared sh*tle** of dying. As long as people fear death they will fall for any religion which promises eternal life after physical death. Atheism offer no comfort to the afraid of dying crowd.

Maybe I do, maybe I don't. This doesn't have to do with any of our beliefs about God, our discussion is about why some atheists claim that they have a lack of belief in God. I think it's absurd to state that you have a non-belief in something you obviously have been exposed to.

If you think your position is of non-belief, then here, you dropped your pacifier. :lol:

Science hasn't definitively shown whether god exists or not.

However, it *does* provide arguments against god. Case in point: the age of the earth.


Science is full of theories which one do you choose to believe some people have created theories that where later disprooven the only edge or real argument against Gods existince is evolution which brings me to one question what kind of cell can create a planet and has it been discovered yet and did it also create the universe or was it always their? Also what would you classify the cell that could create the universe after all people think things evolve right?

They lack the belief that God exists. If you say they lack a belief completely, then those people cannot be atheists.

I'm arguing about what is actually happening. It's not possible for you to say you have a non-belief in regarding something you've been exposed to. You may not believe that God exist's so that becomes your belief.

If you atheism means to not have a belief either way, then many things could be said to be atheist, but not you. You've had a chance to think about it and you came to your conclusion. And it may change over time, who knows? You don't go from non-belief to believe and back. That doesn't make sense.

Atheism is non-believe. Sure, you can say it, but it's not the reality of what's going on.

What is your reason for being an atheist? Just think about it. Once you have, then that is your doctrine as to why you are an atheist. It's doesn't justify your non-position. It justifies your position of believing that God doesn't exist.

An Atheist does not believe in god. This is a fact. Therefore, an Atheist lacks belief in god. This is also a fact.

I don't understand why you can't grasp this incredibly simple fact.

Atheists lack the belief in the existence of God. I know many definitions aren't worded that way, but the fact of the matter is that atheists DO have a belief regarding the existence of God. They don't have a non-belief, unless you're talking about a baby, or tree maybe.

I do not believe gods exist.
I believe gods do not exist.

Atheists do not believe gods exist.

This is literally the definition of the word.

I dont follow religion because im afriad of dying everyone dies that is one thing everyone has in common.

I do not fear death when I die I die until then I will continue to live my life as a devout christian and a methodist.

But do I judge others for not believeing of course not life needs adversity of all kinds it makes life interesting and not boring.
