Your obsession with DMK non-withstanding, if you see something that breaks the rules, report it.

I'm getting tired of people not reporting things, and then whining that the mods don't do anything.

That was her point. Folks say that "Native americans are extinct" , but its a preposterous myth.

LOL You tell us to report things, and then when someone does, you say they have an obsession! Why would anybody be encouraged to report someone’s post(s), when their report is treated so disrespectfully?


Well, like I said, that list is NOWHERE NEAR exhaustive, and something tells me that if I had reported each of those posts, as they occurred, I would’ve been told to stop whining about DMK----I mean, look it, I only made ONE report, and was told I had an obsession!

Also, those of us who don’t have a close personal relationship with the Report Button (in regard to personal attacks on us), are that way because we think THAT’S whining!!

As I have said, before, it seems that at least some of the Mods just absolutely sit on the Refresh Button, on the “Active Discussions” page----and, as I’ve said before, I think that’s very efficient----so, what *I* wanna know, is if they’re sitting on the button that catches a post like mine, that started this conversation, why aren’t they ALSO catching the posts like those that I just reported? THAT’S what makes the Mods look like they’re showing favoritism.

And you appear "obsessed" because not many people take the time needed to compile long lists of another person's misdeeds.

And yes, we appear biased. The Left thinks we're biased in favor of the Right, and the Right thinks we're biased in favor of the Left. That's never going to change. Furthermore, if you have further issues with the mods, kindly take it the WP Discussion forum, and stop derailing this thread.

Overall, a large portion of what people believe about pre-Christian Europe is completely wrong. Some people seem to assume that all of pre-Christian Europe was just as brutal as the Roman Empire.

In reality, the modern "barbarian" archetype originated in Greco-Roman propaganda. Most of those "barbarians" were just defending themselves from Roman aggression. Also, those "barbarians" respected women more than the Romans did.

Actually I have never heard that either. If she hears that "many" times then she must run with a really uneducated crowd.

I wouldn't be surprised if at least 20% of the American population has some sort of Native American ancestry.

The people who say that Native Americans are extinct must not have done much paperwork where there's a race question or just not paid attention to the options, because there's a "Native American" option in the race question. If Native Americans were extinct, "Native American" wouldn't be listed in the race question on papers.

AND there's even a character from Rick Riordan's novel series, The Heroes of Olympus, who is a Cherokee Native American! (That's Piper McLean, BTW.)

Bollocks. Socrates was put to death because he doubted the existence of the Greek pantheon, and encouraged others to be doubters as well.
