That's nonsense, of course, but for some reason Canadians seem to admire the Cuban government, which is about as Communist as any.

BTW I wonder how many can identify the origin of the expression "murrican" and its variants?

How about you explain it then.
I provided a sort of definition of Fascism here, but I must warn you that most people didn't like it. Communism's "founder" wrote a manifesto. That might be considered a defining document.

I don't know about Don King, but I believe it began with a particular impressionist's routine in which President Lyndon Johnson begins a speech with "My fellow Americans" and the pronunciation was rendered that way for comic effect. Ironic because nowadays Johnson is widely perceived as a progressive President.

I provided a sort of definition of Fascism here, but I must warn you that most people didn't like it. Communism's "founder" wrote a manifesto. That might be considered a defining document.


So maybe a better choice of words for the topic title would have been "Would you want to live under an Oppressive Government?" because Americans often think of communism and fascism as oppression but do not fully understand what those terms actually mean.

I'm not sure why you think I'd assume fascism was unique to whites, given that the crimes of the Japanese Empire are well-known (I guess you could say that they weren't technically fascist, but they were pretty close).

It's true that the Italian Fascists didn't start off racist, but they didn't do anything to protect the Jews once that Nazis started calling the shots. The Brazilian Integralist movement wasn't openly racist for the most part, but they never actually achieved power. Fascism lends itself to racism because it is focused on national identity and always needs a scapegoat.

Cause you listed being mixed race as why you’d be dead under facism which implies racism is a part of it and you’d be killed for being mixed face.

Facism doesn’t have to be nationalism nor vice versa.

Fascism is a form of radical authoritarian ultranationalism, characterized by dictatorial power, forcible suppression of opposition and strong regimentation of society and of the economy.

So a pro mixed race government who’s seized control ,created a dictatorship , and oppresses those who disagree with them is facism.
Antifa is facist cause they want to control who can speak and be free only think stopping them is they aren’t a dictatorship in control.
I dont know why we even have facism since it’s literally just a dictatorship which is already a thing. All dictators fit the facism definition.
