I suppose it was. We could see that making a difference in the coming months/years.  The fact remains though that we have neither an actual example of a Democratic politician getting off the hook or a Republican politician getting in deep doo-doo for being descended from slave owners since that fateful day. I'm all for personal accountability, but ancestry doesn't seem like a strong attack angle.
I believe this was understood from the get-go and this thread is just an attempt at creating much ado about nothing.
And maybe grind an axe-head or two along the way...

So that pattern he keeps denying exists, it actually exists?

Believing that having slave owner ancestors is disqualifying is a very SJW attitude.

You might find Stuart Stevens' new book to be to your interest.

If fighting the wickedness of Joseph Biden means siding with SJW's,so be it.

Youve posted this fact before. The fact that you oppose Trump, but for some reason you think Biden is somehow even worse.

Problem one: most voters view Biden as either a good guy, or as a sorta bad guy- but one who is just your garden variety bad politician. Even the later view him as being better than Trump (who most see as being in a class by himself in both un precedented malfeasance and unprecedented misfeasance). So when you rant about Biden being worse than Trump you come off as being a bit hysterical.

Problem two: Its not the fault of us horses that we arent drinking. Your job is to give us horses a reason to drink. But what do you do? If the worst thing you can say about Biden is that...his running mate...has an ancestor from six generations ago...who was a slave owner...then you come off as desperate, and as grasping at straws. Desperate on top of being hysterical.

You even admit that having a slave owning ancestor doesnt bother YOU, but ...you still want US all to be upset about it anyway!

You admit that your point doesnt even persuade you yourself! 8O

Dude

If you are going to persuade me to be SO afraid of Biden that I would be willing to put up with another four years of Trump in order to vote against Biden then you have to make Biden look like Idi Amin, or Kim Jong Un. Anything less wont due. Not like Nixon, not like Warren G. Harding, but all of the way to Kim country! But in this thread you have failed to make Biden look bad at all.

Kamala Harris was certainly a risky choice but given his other options probably the best person available.

Oh and given the founding fathers of the US of A actually owned slaves I hardly think this merits scrutiny.

The website is so liberal I could post a video of Biden robbing a bank and no one would care.

The republicans became Trump because they lacked a better leader, both parties are scrounging for direction at the bottom of the barrel.

The republicans haven't put up much since Reagan and the democrats since Kennedy, that's why I have evolved to be a conservative independent.

And why I've evolved into a liberal independent. I've never voted for a major party candidate in my life. Can't imagine doing so in this election either.

Any third party candidates with a chance to win

I do find it rather humerous that the party that was in favour of removing statues of former slave owners and taking down portraits of former speakers of the house who owned slaves is actively endorsing a descendent of slave owners (as far as is currently known) for Vice President.

It's nice to see that they are so willing to demonstrate their consistency and strength of their beliefs.

This is the very point I have been trying to make, maybe I haven't made it as well as I should have but Brictoria surely hit the nail on the head.
