Considering most of the movie makers in the US and Canada are colonials themselves, it's not surprising that their sympathy has always been with the colonizers, rather than the colonized.

Last night my mom was surprised to hear about various international gangs and organised crime groups operating here.. like can't they be stopped by the RCMP/Government? Uuuh, you mean the same organisations that came over and committed genocidal crimes against humanity and then set up shop here as Canada? Like global criminals are going to eliminate other criminals. They're all corrupt AF, merely painting themselves as do-gooders and omitting their atrocities.
