People posted in it, and there was debate, more so than usual. There just happened to be some flaming along aside it. Your speech was disproportionate, and you didnt actually have the authority to say what you said. All that was needed is a nice speech asking people to behave.

No, I actually did less than what was needed. Flagg had tried being nice before with his ceasefire request. Lasted a short while.

Flagg isnt a mod, so what he did was more or less irrelavent. All that was needed is a behave or there may be consequences post from a mod, and a few dodgy accounts banned.
