I would say it is late to start someone new, with voting starting in a few days.

It does speak to all the bets on Hillary just went bad, and that was a large bet.

Trump says he can take New York. It is possible, he is loved upstate. The city is a Democrat stronghold, but a Trump win, with a Republican House and Senate, and New York would be out of power for eight years.

If New York goes to Trump, that is the election.

Polls say that 20-25% of Democrats will vote for Trump, he could win New York with upstate and 35% of the city.
Trump polls well with Black and Hispanics, and has many employees in the city.

This election is about how much people hate Washington, 87%, and Trump has worked that demographic.

There is no one on either side who could pull together a Stop Trump vote.

[MODERATOR]

If this thread continues to devolve, it's getting locked.

The only reason I haven't yet it because I've been too preoccupied with real life to worry about moderating.

I don't think I need to remind anyone that name-calling is off-limits even in PPR.

I can just about guarantee that Trump will not win New York. Liberals have a distate for him; conservatives have a distate for him.

People in NYC, especially those outside of Staten Island, tend to vote Democratic in a robotic manner. In other words, it's the party they vote for, not the person. Same for most of the urban areas of New York State. The last time New York went to a Republican was during the Reagan Landslide.

No one is denying trump supporters of free speech. We are merely saying the obvious, trump supporters lack critical thinking skills. Does diversity include people with spexial needs? YES! Does that mean that we should not try ro educate them? No

Dude, you have a Socialist in the White House in a supposedly free country. Anyone backing Obama is seriously lacking in the critical thinking skills department, Imo.

Beats me. People whom I've pwn3d usually say that I am a troll, not that I'm not one.
gee, maybe it's because you spout specious arguments littered with insults and then claim you've won.

I usually just go back to the previous page where my original post is, and hit submit again.

Yes, I'll admit that liberals often play to the race card a wee bit too often. On the other side, conservatives will play the anti-antisemitism card quite frequently as a response to any criticism of Israel -- also, the anti-American card for any criticism of America. The political deck is chocked full of ugly cards!

Intelligent political discourse is all but dead, in the U.S. And the ruling class does it's best to keep the citizens divided and bickering about all our differences, while they laugh all the way to the bank. It's been that way throughout history.

I don't have much faith that it will get better, personally. It's going to take enough people to wake up, educate themselves, and start forcing politicians to represent us, rather than their corporate masters. Unfortunately, Americans have been far too dumbed down.

What do you think the point of conservatism is? Guys like Raptor were once THE Establishment. But they are no longer part of it and they're extremely butthurt about it.

They say big government is *eevil* because it protects the weak from the strong. They believe the strong should dominate the weak because that's part of the natural order of things which they believe is innately good. They use the catchphrase "cultural marxism" to dismiss scientific discoveries and and sociological data that undermines the myths which legitimize the social order and form the basis for societies rules[ see "Noble lies, deadly truths" by Leo Strauss].
