That's my vote.

It seems we're the only race on the planet that's not supposed to take pride in it.

Personally I don't take pride in the fact that the "whites" I am related to liked to enslave or murder just about everyone who wasn't white. Farmers, religious nuts and murderers.... that is not a culture I can really enjoy.

Well...arguably you are. At least if you say n****r and not n***a (yes there is a difference!)

Quote:
Logically if you call yourself and your friends one, then I mimic that behavior, mimicry is actually a form of respect, after all we dont mimic ret*ds when we are kids, we mimick people like muhammad ali and mike tyson, pros that are really cool, so us copying your lingo is actually a form of respect.

I have no problem. Some will have a problem with 'n***a' others won't. Depends on the person. Also n***a is not n****r. different word and meaning and history (but related)

Quote:
they call each other a n**gers and they are black, when a white person, even one of their friends, says the same thing they get mad because a white guy said it, in this way blacks are more racist against white people then vice versus.

n****r is used as an insult. n***a is a term of friendship. So black people callinh each other n****rs is an insult.

Humans and the other primates have a common ancestor sometime back. I do not think humans descended from any modern specie of apes. We are a kind of ape (insofar as we are primates). We are the apes that talk and delude ourselves.

Oh, then maybe not so superior? I still think it is a good one, and am looking forward to using 'human racist' in real life conversation...hopefully the right moment will be soon. :D

I'm black and I'm for the preservation of white culture/heritage. Not because I hate black people but because I love all people and I believe everyone deserves to be heard and no one deserves to be eliminated. Anyway, I recently took a racial bias test and as it turns out I have no racial preference; at all. I do think that this society is built upon social hierarchy with race being one of those hierarchical groups. I think race is less important than what many believe it to be, and that we destroy people's lives on that basis. I do not believe that Affirmative Action is racist, I think it's logical, considering that black students often encounter racism. Being a black autistic person, or autistic at all makes life different for us. We see life in a theoretical way and people in a "pure" way. So even when I was encountering discrimination I didn't know it because I didn't know what racial discrimination felt like. Now that I know what it's like, looking back I had a few encounters with whites that were clearly racial encounters. I simply kept being myself, all goofy and happy all the time and the people would eventually yield. I "killed them with kindness" so to speak. But most people don't have a neurological disorder that makes them unaware of normal social interactions. It's the reason why I will be able to go from poor to doctor in one generation. Racism is soooooo f*****g stupid I can't begin to explain, I imagine in 200 years our progeny will look back on this period and go wha???

I agree with Raptor.

Roche12: Don't forget the good in addition to the bad. Just as atrocities may be "white washed," so too can all of the positives the white race has done for humanity as a whole, which is what you're doing here, completely ignoring the good.

The problem with that is that whites didn't "create" that in a vacuum or something. It's like me taking all the credit for getting to college when other people helped. When you take the fact that one nation was completely conquered and its entire people wiped out, you have to think about that factor as well. Or the fact that the U.S was able to become a global power, more quickly, because of slavery. I haven't seen the data for this, but according to many History teachers, the U.S economy was built on slavery. Soooo there you go. Exploitation and annihilation are also factors in the ability to be innovative. Or the fact that a lot of the inventions have been by groups that were not desirable. Blacks invented various types of music/dance and other things, and Jews have done the same. Why not mention Italians and the Irish? Many of these groups, originally, were not considered white. And then you have the recent influx of immigrants to the nation that are making a contribution. It's very audacious to state that white people invented everything when, taking a look a history, they clearly did not. Btw, people don't say their proud to be Asian, black, hispanic because they want to subvert white people but because they have grown tired of the notion that their culture is somehow inferior to white culture, and the idea that their group contributed nothing. And what's white culture anyways? "White" people come from many countries in Europe lol. If you mean mainstream American cultural preservation then I agree totally, but every race is apart of that culture.

Unfortunately, people seem to read my dislike of African-American rap culture as a dislike of black people. However, it's the subculture itself that bothers me. I'm a fan of Morgan Freeman, and I detest Eminem. In the same way, I'm a fan of Sean Connery and I hate Kanye West. It's the attitude that bothers me, and as it is, most people with that attitude in this country happen to be black. That's why I lash out at Antilleans - a literal majority of Antillean men living here have been arrested. Incidentally, it's the part of the Antillean population that also sports caps, necklaces and loud cars with African-American rap music.

Actually, by the time the United States became a global power to be reckoned with, slavery had been abolished in favour of much more efficient industrial production. It just happened to be a relatively new, relatively untouched and very large country sitting on plenty of expensive resources at a time when it was suddenly profitable to use massive amounts of resources to produce massive amounts of refined resources, consumer goods and means of transportation.

There are general cultural patterns that can be detected. American culture isn't that different from Canadian culture, for example. Austrian culture is quite comparable with German culture. Tunisia and Algeria have similar cultures. Norway, Sweden and Denmark are often compared to each other, and occasionally to Finland. Vietnamese culture is relatively similar to Chinese culture. Laos and Cambodia have similar cultures. Pakistan and Afghanistan have similar cultures.

White culture, in this case, might mean culture originating in areas where a large majority of the population is European-Caucasoid (as opposed to Negroid or Mongoloid of any type. Notice how the latter two sound extremely racist, but the former doesn't sound racist at all, even though they're related terms originating from the same age-old scientific literature. Mostly, they refer to the cultures that developed between the Bosphorus and Greenland in the northern hemisphere. Later on, it partially started to refer to North American-Caucasoid and some South-American Caucasoid variants of those cultures, as well as the post-aboriginal cultural variants in Australia and New Zealand.

Im sorry but multiculturalism is a bad thing. Here in Britain in 1997 when the left-wing labour government got in, they started of this whole immigration thing. Now Britain is over populated. For white british people in Britain the living standards are dropping yearly.

Of course.

The living standards for everyone in most of Europe are dropping. Part of this is indeed caused by immigration. The worst, most criminal neighbourhoods are almost exclusively majority-foreign, and according to cautious estimates, we're spending billions in net compensation for the poor results of direct immigration, let alone second and third generations exceeding the first in terms of crime, poverty and poor education. Even if the houses are just a few years old and worth relatively much, and billions have been poured into investments in these neighbourhoods, they stand out in terms of poverty, crime and self-segregation.

The idea of multiculturalism was that people from various cultures would flock to balanced neighbourhoods and would exchange ideas and finally form a functioning multicultural society. Of course, that's impossible. What we see consistently throughout Europe is that, unless they're forced by housing corporations to spread (then ignore everyone nearby and keep their contacts limited to their own group), non-western foreigners tend to live with people from their own ethnic group. There are known cases of entire villages from Morocco coming to live in two or three streets here. And integration - hardly. Many of them don't speak our language, because they don't need to. There are translation services in courts, public buildings and hospitals, and their only other communication is with people from their own ethnic, cultural and religious group. Occasionally, their children have to translate for them when their children have gotten in trouble in school. The PvdA, our local labour party, once tried to issue part of their election campaign material in Arabic.

That should sort of give people a clue.

Also, here's a list of several posters from the PvdA and GroenLinks in Arabic and Turkish (http://islamwatch2010.wordpress.com/2010/02/16/netherlands-more-election-posters-in-turkish-and-arabic/). WTF?! ! This shows that something has gone seriously wrong somewhere.

I don't even think the likes of far-left, Islamic parties like RESPECT in the UK have taken to putting their posters in foreign languages.

No race is supposed to be proud. Movements called "pride" (black pride, gay pride, etc.) generally seem to mean "lack of shame", though doubtless some take it into genuine pride.

Nobody should be ashamed of their race (or sexual orientation, or gender, or sex), but being proud of it seems strange.

There's something that really stings here. This is a striking coincidence. The poster for Jamal Challiui is almost completely in Arabic. However, the motto GroenLinks always uses is still in Dutch, because it's part of a logo that needs to be put on there for it to be allowed in the public space during election campaigns. Translated, it says "GroenLinks. Looking forward to the future." The one for Deventer says "Deventer, we/us" in Turkish. Then it says, again, "looking forward to the future." The one at the bottom is even more interesting. It's in Turkish, a language the candidate does not even speak.

That, by the way, is where the name 'voting cattle' comes from. People who can't read our language but can read Turkish or Arabic rarely know our political system, and often think they're electing a premier in local elections. These posters are simply used by people who want to gather more votes in neighbourhoods where tens of thousands of people are functionally illiterate in any alphabet but Arabic.

But pointing out the truth is "racist", of course.

Immigration can and does work well, usually when it's limited, the incomers have valuable skills and they're wanted by the host populace, as the incomers have a much higher chance of integrating into the broader community (as there's not a huge support system for them made up of fellow immigrants). It's when it's in large numbers, especially when not wanted by the populace, and particularly when a lot of these immigrants contribute very little for their "hosts" (or actually create problems for them), is when it gets people's backs up.

Keeping heritage and culture? By all means! Except, in the same way that asian culture actually consists of a variety of cultures, white culture isn't really a culture on its own at all. So more of a nationalist thing.

And once people start judging people by skin tone or nationality we've taken it too far. And we do. All the time. <.<

Also, white people aren't the only ones who can be racist. I've had people be racist against me for being white.

Take it you have no problem with female genital mutilation being practiced in your country then? After all, it is a part of their "culture".
