Well, Sopho is a special case. She lacks the ability to sympathize.

Ah, really? Why are there any special cases?

(I'm being polite, really. She believes in pursuing a no-holds-barred, all-out attack on Christianity, yet balks and protests at me voting against gay marriage. There is no level to which she will not stoop in her insults.)

You can't compare the two. You want to legally prevent me from marrying a woman. I'm not going to vote to ban Christianity or knock down churches.

No. I feel sorry for all you poor Christians. You must have such hard lives, dealing with all this discrimination. :(

Yes, especially on the one subforum we should be free to express our views.

She has a very good point you know. You just don't understand it because you don't want to.

Apparantely he can't process that somehow, he lacks the ability to sympathize or maybe something else?

Exactly, and it's very simple, I don't know why some can't see that, christians are very well allowed to live their lives as they please, to have and build their churches, websites, etc. While gay people are prevented from getting married and discriminated against if they have a relationship with someone they are attracted.

I don't know why is that so hard to understand.

Well, Sopho. I think the whole 'pillar raised above everything else' was not a good thing to say.

Of course, that's going to be elevated in a thread about gay marriage, for heaven's sake.

(Irony intentional)

You're a high chief among the anti-Christians. And you could benefit a thousand-fold if you'd apply your second sentence to yourself. You simply don't learn any concepts you don't like, no matter if they're facts of history, science, sociology, religion -- you simply can't learn, because of your attitude. Quite sad.

How come it doesn't matter where a Christian posts or the content of the post; as soon as someone is discovered to be a Christian almost every antichristian topic is thrown at them? The Mods on this group don't care about that, why?

I though Calandale resigned as a mod, so this group doesnt have one dedicated to it.

Quite simply, most of the mods here don't know how much they can exercise their authority without pissing off Alex and getting banned and most are already overworked.

I think there are about 100 threads on Intensity bitching about this, although I havent really read them. Who is this "Alex"?
