Then why the hell are we even wasting money through tax cuts on the rich? I want to see results. And I believe that if they don't produce jobs in America, then the government should have the right to repossess the money through taxation.

They would start hiring again if they stopped get mountains of new regulations shoved on them (some of which apply retro-actively (meaning you get penalized for something that happened before the regulation existed)). They are afraid to hire, invest, etc. because Government is constantly changing the rules. Businesses like the rules to remain constant, so they know what they can and can't do.

While you find that as an acceptable explanation, I personally think it's a cop out.
Case in point - next door to my state of Washington is Idaho, where conservative elements in state government in the 80's had convinced the voters to pass right to work laws, and to elect legislators who reversed regulations and social programs in order to attract more business. Today, Idaho is a very poor state with rapidly disappearing jobs, and are at the bottom of the list when it comes to spending on education. The pro-business right didn't exactly do a bang up for my neighbors in Idaho.

Bill Clinton was, in effect, a moderate middle of the road Republican in Democrat clothing. Just as Ronald Reagan was a New Deal Democrat playing the role of a Republican avatar. Both Bill and Ron wanted to be loved. That can lead to much trouble.

I actually met Bill Clinton back in 2008 when he was going around America supporting Hillary. He came to the college near where I used to live.

He seemed kind of cold to me. Like, he was polite, but in a way seemed almost reptilian and emotionless.

I got the same vibes when I met John Kerry in person. I looked him in the eye and I saw the eye of the cobra. Very cold. It was kind of creepy.
