He won the nomination didn't he? I'd say his entire career is a testament that it helps..

They both come across as weak on foreign policy and not only weak but also a bit undeveloped.

At least McCain had a pro-Israel stance and by that I mean I think Ron Paul has a pro nothing stance on foreign affairs.
