A brotherhood 'rap' full of mockery and threats against the protests, at the end of the clip he says "Attack them!" .

There was a TV article the other day interviewing one of the (more fanatical?) members of the Islamic Brotherhood. He was saying that the pyramids should be demolished because they were anti-islamic - rather like that huge ancient statue of the Buddha that was blown up in Afghanistan by the Taliban and various other historic sites demolished by these crazy people.

Would you like to hear proof of this statement from these animals?

From November 2012, this is from an Egyptian Salafist oaf:

Repressed males with in a "grabby" culture. Not that it doesn't happen elsewhere but several countries in the Arab world have a reputation for grabby men. I found it shocking myself. Add that to the common regional view that western women are basically whores because of their sexual availability outside of marriage.

I'm kind of divided on the idea of a coup. Morsi has overreached in some ways but he's also duly elected. It's difficult to sell the virtue of democracy when you won't let certain people serve out their terms. It reminds me of Algeria, where the Islamists won the election and were immediately denied power, sparking a civil war.

It's shocking even considering the culture. I don't know if it's just the perception of women there (lots of Egyptian women being raped, not just Westerners), or if it's something else, as well. I guess there's a sense that they can do these things and get away with them, and I don't think that's unique to the culture. It demonstrates a state of total lawlessness.

You mean a Zionist agent of the US.

You can live in hope. My experience of Egypt is that it's a country where all but a handful of people are piss poor and I find it surprising that in such dire economic circumstances a popular uprising against the government took so long to happen. This Arab Spring really is a repeat of the Peasant's Revolt. Not some rally for Islam or democracy. I suspect that if the west manages to install their favored puppet then the floodgates will open and money will pour in to quench the anger of the masses.

Uhh, I was under the assumption that Tequila was referring to Mohamed Morsi. Did I miss something?
