I'm not sure if that is technically true, but its a good point.

Plus I have often wondered if the world took a totally non violent response to Hitler if the world would be no different today, except an awful lot of people would not have died in WW2.

More jews would have been murdered, but millions of others may not have been killed and I may have got to know my great-uncles.

If Nazi Germany could not have suvived in the long run (just like communist USSR) then what was the point really?

Im to lazy to read all 5 pages of what was posted.
But I will say Hitler's psychological profile says he was suffering from Oedipus complex and Messianic complex. NOT AUTISM.

The old psycological reports were made long before AS was remotely well known. "Oedipus complex and Messianic complex" sound like long outdated terms. And people now are starting to realize Freud was a degenerate pervert, and psycology has changed alot. The old reports are largely unreliable, and lack alot of information. Many of the posts say theres no way he could have AS, but its harder to prove he didn't. Even if he did have AS, it doesnt make aspies bad its just an interesting question.

What exactly do you like about him?

I mean, I don't tend to think of him as a "likeable" guy, but I can see where someone could enjoy studying about him because he's such an interesting political/sociological case.

i like the fact that he was a good painter. just because he had people killed doesnt make him a bad person.

richardbenson does have a point of sorts - as the saying goes, history is written by the victor. Had Hitler won the Second World War, we'd probably discussing whether 'that evil bastard Churchill' was an Aspie instead. It's all an issue of perspective.
Also, he was an incredible leader. His power to motivate people and his power as a public speaker were second to none in his day, and he did unimaginable good for the employment and economy situations in Germany - just look at the Autobahns.
So, whilst his views and practices may conflict with those of many many people... he is admirable nonetheless.
