On an actually more serious note, I think it's curious how fascism and totalitarian communism (or theocracy, for that matter) are almost always talked about as if they're vastly different things, when actually what makes them different is little more than a technicality. Strawberry totalitarianism versus chocolate-chip totalitarianism. Potayto, potahto.

I guess, sort of. Just a lot more computationally intensive (can't be done in real time yet). The cat filter thing involves AI in the face-capture stage only, this thing (whatever you call it -- it's sort of like a deep fake, but not exactly) probably involves AI in the rendering stage too.
