There would be the suffering on the cross. Crucifixion isn't exactly a picnic. (Though it could be worse- you could be stabbed) Also, Christianity teaches that Jesus was resurrected on the third day. Unless you are Mormon, most Christians believe that those three days are when Jesus suffered in Hell.
The beginning of the Apostle's Creed reads:
I BELIEVE in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, Born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried, He descended into hell; the third day he rose again from the dead...
Now, it's not eternal damnation, but I don't see many people volunteering for a long weekend in Hell.
New Rule: Start another religious debate, because we don't have those often enough.
