Judging by your avatar I take it your a Simpson's fan. Well that being the case, you remind me of Ned Flanders.

You are welcome to your beliefs; kindly, don't foist them upon me... there has been nothing in my life that has led me to your religion, and your sensationalism does nothing to change that.

Don't be too hard on Shadowgirl. She probably really believes all that stuff about hell and is genuinely distressed that so many people will end there. Her motives are good. It's just her beliefs simply are totally divorced from reality.

That could be taken as flattery rather than despective, I think. Anyway, her avatar reminds me of slowmutant.

Hey there, Old Fellow! You have been around long enough to know what the Road to Hell is paved with.

We are in more danger from Good Intentions than Bad Intentions.

I am fully aware of your horror of good intentions but, unlike you, the alternative holds no delights for me.

Reminds me of the saying 'Truth is truly stranger than fiction'. Blatantly false, of course.

Nevertheless I am rather fond of:

The universe, said J. B. S. Haldane, is not only queerer than we suppose, but queerer than we can suppose.

"jdkkdlkgh83smdsmnd" J.B.S. Haldane said after that, and subsequently made a big leap to Betelgueze and started an ostrich farm.
