No, he's not an artist. He's a programmer for a small company that makes cell phone apps.

Yep, people can smoke every day and still succeed at life.
And not only in the arts, as Mr. Breeg snidely insinuates with his last comment

Right. My husband doesn't have a creative bone in his body. He's very mathematically inclined. Before this job, he was kind of a big deal as an employee at Apple Co.

I'm not suprised daily pot smokers do well with their studies, probably studying art untill the age of 50, and then retiring.

I would love to be so successful that I can retire at 50 :D

Instead my pot-damaged brain is stuck working as an c-level executive for a large company. :D

My pot smoking in laws retired at about 50, but they weren't artists. My mother in law was a librarian/lunch lady and worked with school aged children at a daycare center and my father in law was also a programmer. He retired from Apple Co, but worked for IBM and a few other high tech companies I don't remember atm.

That was a joke, hence why I put
You could also say that smoking regularly isn't good for one's lungs

Maybe you should have stated that you only think people 'walking around like corpses' should be arrested, instead of claiming that there needs to be a harsh punishment simply for being stoned. Either way, I'm not buying your attempts to weasel out of this one

I'm not trying to weasel out of anything. Most of the things I say on here are usually misinterpreted, or need to be taken with a pinch of salt. If you wanna take things in the extreme, thats up to you.

My judgement seemed fine. My degree wasn't in something that didn't require judgement or analysis like mathematics, I was constantly applying several years of study to evaluations and critiques of literature. I graduated with honors, and was stoned the entire time.

What I don't think you realize is that different people react to things in different ways. If someone has a tendency to be a prick, or a zombie, then marijuana is going to make it easier for them to be that way. It can loosen your mindset and make you care less about how you are perceived by others. (Wait, doesn't this sound like something useful for aspies?)

It can make you oblivious to that yes. Or it could make your more paranoid of how you are percieved. So I know if I had a problem with that, i'd rather sort out the root problem, rather than using a drug to solve the problem, unless it was a last resort thing.

I meant retire and live off benefits. And not have to pay back the uni loans.

Maybe you'd be higher up if your brain wasn't pot-damaged? Who knows. Well pot doesn't suit me anyway, cause i'm an active person.

So uncalled for. Can't say I'm surprised, though. *shakes head*

I was just quoting his pot-damaged quote. I don't think his mind is pot damaged, so don't panic. I was just making a point.

You did a poor job of it. It looked like a personal attack to me, and against a mod. *raised eyebrow*

Well you do seem to misjudge what I mean 90% of the time.

You keep accusing everyone of doing that. I have to wonder if maybe the problem is you and not us.

Hes probably going to make some snide comment on how pot makes us all paranoid and misinterpret his statements for insults. Which is insulting in itself...

BS. At least have the balls to man up to your insults
