I kind of like Obama. At least his socialistic ideas such as welfare. He has got a lot of great ideas that haven't been put into action though.

Sure he hasn't done everything he said and he has done opposite of what he promised at times, but he is only one man. People need to understand that he isn't super man or govern all the power people tend to think a president does. There are a lot of powerful people in the united states that I believe he doesn't want to cross. When you hear claims that are most likely true such as Bush and his people listening in on people and so on you ought to know that Obama is up against some pretty strong "forces" and everything he wants to have done is simply not possible in lot of cases. It doesn't have to be people that are at fault, it can also be circumstantial. He simply cannot bring back the troops like he wanted to do simply because it's not in the best interest of many people right now to just withdraw all the military forces even though they should've never been there in the first place.

I am not that big on politics and I may not know everything simply because it isn't that important to someone like me who doesn't fore take in most of society. However from what I've seen/know he isn't that bad of a president, and people tend to give him a harder time than he deserves. Sure he isn't perfect, but I guess we should have learned that already from previous presidents, and when looking at oneself. I don't think there is one perfect human being in the world, nor do I think there will ever be.

Actually, I think it is his policies that are making the situation worse, and thank god the Republicans have stood up to him. Socialism hasn't worked in Europe, and it won't work in the United States.

Except it works excellent in the northern part of Europe: Norway, Sweden and Denmark.

Please do some research before making stupid claims.

However it is not 100% socialism (just a few things such as welfare), but I never said so now did I.

Actually it was the liberals that equated the Bush administration to the sith.
I remember it because it was so hysterically nutty and worthy of ridicule.

Vice President Cheney could easily have played Darth Vadar.
