We are not animals we rule over them they serve us.
We are animals. And other animals can talk. Gorillas have been taught sign language. Porpoises and whales are believed to have language. Most mammals have at least a body language if not a vocal one. Rudimentary perhaps, but they do constitute communication.

We have skin not fur we are not animals.
I take it you don't believe in evolution?

DNA evidence shows that we're closest to the chimpanzee.

For one, Gorillas and Chimpanzees are not hominds. They are the result of an evolutionary branching that took place millions of years ago. Humans are the hominids that survive to this day. The intermediates between humans and the ancestral ape that gave rise to gorillas and chimps have been indentified, and they are all extinct.

I really don't care what YOU think of yourself as being. Reality is not subject, get used to i.

We are definitely animals.
But we are highly developed animals.
It does not matter whether humans are animals or not. In both cases, the death penalty is wrong.

That word is suffering from over-use. I'm dying to see that word stricken from our vocabulary.

Hey! I disagree! And so does Boromir, son of Denethor, captain of Gondor.
