I have nothing against Christianity per se, but if you start making extraordinary claims about Nature, based upon falsified ancient concepts, I will call you on it. If you have an issue with this do not bring your thoughts to a debating forum.

Well technically empathy cannot be effectED as it is affect not effect..

And while 'some' folks with Asperger's syndrome may not have serious issues with affective empathy the evidence is clear in the research that has been done on Alexithymia and brain scans with individuals who do have Asperger's syndrome and Alexithymia that many OUT OF THAT STUDIED SPECIFIC GROUP do most definitely have problems with affective empathy as it can be seen on the brains scans of those studies..

PLENTY OF FOLKS HAVE REPORTED DIFFICULTY WITH THAT ON THIS WEBSITE..SHOULD COME AT ABSOLUTELY NO SURPRISE IF AND WHEN YOU MAY HAVE PAID ANY ATTENTION TO THAT....

Well here's the deal what is GOD anyway..is.. It IS a Word...just an empty vessel or vehicle that truly describes no essence of feeling that people actually experience and benefit from...

YA KnowNOW that thing that is described as the 6th type of Love beyond acts of service..affirmation..quality time..gifts..and even touch..well yes there is a 6th type Love that is Actually GOD incarnate in human beings who reach that very very special level of 'cosmic' love..

Well ya might say it is not real..but if...ya haven't truly experienced this 6th type of Love one just does not TRULY KNOW GOD AS AN ACTUAL REAL EXPERIENCE OF LIFE..

Well now..what about this thing about affective EMPATHY that YES ACCORDING TO RESEARCH..that EVEN some INDIVIDUALS WITH ASPERGER'S SYNDROME AND ALEXITHYMIA MOST DEFINITELY DO EXPERIENCE PROBLEMS WITH IN REAL LIFE..

WELL IF YA (not necessarily you as an individual) DON'T REALLY FEEL MUCH FRIEND.. IN THIS THING CALLED LIFE...
THERE SIMPLY IS NEITHER A PATHWAY TO FEELINGS OF AFFECTIVE EMPATHY THAT ARE YES DEFINITELY REAL...

AND YES THE SEPARATE PATHWAY FOR MECHANICAL COGNITION THAT ALLOWS one TO ATTEMPT TO MECHANICALLY DISPROVE THE EXISTENCE OF GOD IS A REAL AND SEPARATE PATH AS INDICATED BY modern SCIENCE THAT REPRESSES THAT EMPATHY PATHWAY THAT IS ALSO ABOUT GOD...

NOR IS THERE THE PATHWAY TO THE 6TH TYPE OF LOVE OR THIS THING DESCRIBED AS GOD THROUGHOUT THE RECORDED HISTORY OF MANKIND...

With only attempts at vehicles and vessels of metaphorical words to describe this REAL THING THAT IS ACTUALLY GOD..YES THE ESSENCE OF THE 6TH TYPE OF LOVE..THAT TRULY CAN BE FELT AND IS A HUGELY POWERFUL TOOL FOR TRUER ESSENCE OF SUCCESS IN LIFE THAT IS SIMPLY LOVING..CARING AND SHARING....that is TRULY HAPPINESS..STUDIED IN RESEARCH TOO BY THE WAY AS THE NUMBER ONE SOURCE OF HAPPINESS FOR HUMAN BEINGS....

Well how do ya know..ya might ask..IT IS BECAUSE I EXPERIENCE THIS THING CALLED GOD 24/7 NOW ETERNALLY IN THE KNOW..

WELL HOW DA YA KNOW I'M TELLING THE TRUTH..

YOU DON'T HAVE TO...IF YA DON'T WANT THE BLISS OF GOD 24/7 IN THE ETERNITY OF NOW..YA AIN'T GOT TO ASK ABOUT IT..AN YA AIN'T GOT TO GET..IT THAT'S ALL UP TO YOU...

But considering this thing called the 6th LOVE THAT IS GOD IS BETTER THAN ANY HUMAN ORGASM..

It seriously ain't a bad way to live...

Considering there ain't NO anti-depressant pill..alcohol.. or stimulant required to get there...

All you have to do is keep believing in this higher POWER that is the 6th LOVE THAT IS GOD..AND WHO KNOWS SOONER OR LATER YOU COULD BE EXPERIENCING A GOD ORGASM FRIGGING ALL THE TIME 2..

AND no.. other than the unusual and colorful way i just described 'IT'.. yah that thing called GOD..It's really True too..

And no seriously i don't think there is anyway you could understand the essence of what i am saying here..but I'm pretty sure that at least one or two folks in the listening audience will not have any problem with it at all...

Even my marriage counselor fully understands this stuff...

But yah..she believes in the 6th type of LOVE that is GOD too..It's too hard to miss It for those who most definitely can discern it and yes..there is a substantial amount of cognitive empathy required to discern it as well...

And no i'm not at expecting to change your mind on anything about it..as far as i can discern that is a lost cause now for you..but again..there are folks in the listening audience that will at least likely find this amusing who do truly understand what this 6th type of LOVE that is GOD truly IS in real life..not some online fantasy and all of that....

And yes all of this is just my opinion..toss in the sea as a grain of salt if you like..

But even if ya do that it is still part of GOD..

The grain of sand that is..too smart to question the Existence of GOD...

And yes that is just another metaphor friend not to be taken literally..to simply clarify and verify communication here per that
cognitive empathy thingy you were talking about...

And to be clear several people have suggested i not use complicated metaphors an an aspeger's PPR forum..but seriously all philosophy is is metaphors...

And seriously it is absolutely impossible to describe anything about God without using complicated metaphors and big long stories..to even attempt to explain this real thing called gOD to someone who like never has experienced the real part of it..that is within a person's being..

Not some magic man in the sky.....that's completely ridiculous..and likely folks that only think literally could even come to such a conclusion.....

Yeah.. i suspect that many fundie Christians are somewhere on the broader autism phenotype with problems fully understanding metaphors and all of that..

It took me literally decades to get much better at it....

Well if Jesus could come back in real life..as historical evidence does point out that it is more than likely he is more along the lines of a Buddhist Monk ..than some high brow dude wanting to be worshipped and all of that...

He would probably take great offense as to why everyone is worshipping some made up flesh of a man instead of seeking the bliss that is potentially inside of them..that their dog already enjoys basking out in the afternoon sun...

I do that sometimes, and i do get a bit of satisfaction from it (same with political arguments). I actually find it difficult not to mock it as it so illogical and because of the troubles and suffering it has caused in the past (and still does). I don't see much wrong in doing that, as people often make fun of my political standpoint and it doesn't overly bother me

Its a diagnostic trait of aspergers- the uncontrollable urge to be blasphemous! Kinda like Tourette's Syndrome. Only under meds do aspies act pious and respectful.

In contrast NTs NEVER say upsetting things about other people's religous beliefs, political beliefs, nor any other creeds.

I think NTs sometimes do this in their minds; the difference is that they have social filters. But I am tolerant of all religions.
