President Trump just had a stellar week in Asia.
You'd never know it from the mainstream media,
who showed one or two clips taken out of context
and edited into negative propaganda hit pieces.

If you're interested in watching videos of Trump
being welcomed to and speaking in Japan, China, South Korea, Vietnam, the Philippines,
and keeping up with the actual news on a daily basis, send me a private message.

President Trump is greeted with respect, warmth, even affection, in
many countries in the world, esteemed by many leaders.
The welcome to China was especially awesome ... as well as historic.
It happened in prime time, and the media refused to cover it.

Previously, I watched President Trump
being welcomed to Saudi Arabia ...
once again, super awesome ...
the sword dance was especially fascinating!

The good news is, there's plenty of good news out there.
Trump is making America great again ...
and btw, making the world great again! 8)

Well I am glad he is having such a grand time in asia, meanwhile he is failing the american people. Lol what exactly is he doing to make anything great...wasting lots of money on a big ugly wall that slices through peoples property, wild-life reserves, resorts some Americans will end up on the Mexican side. Denying climate change and trying to back out of having to address it like the rest of the western world? Or is it his handing out tax breaks to the wealthy and increasing taxes on people making less than 75,000 a year? Oh yes those are great things for America and the world.

You have the right to your opinions.

Really now, I had no idea. Still doesn't answer my question as to what Trump is doing to 'make america great'.

You didn't back up a thing you said.
Why should I?

I assumed the wall he wants to build, his lack of concern for climate change and backing out of that paris agreement as well as passing a tax bill that lowers taxes on the wealthy while eventually raising them on the middle class and lower where kind of common knowledge/easy to look up sorts of things. Still though what has he done that is great?

This is because socialism and its everybody is equal myth is a lie. What it actually means is : government has a monopoly on everything. Truth, education, companies, everything. Anyone with a different opinion or whom does not fit into the standard is eradicated. By eradicating i also mean, character assasination in the media in the case of trump

This is why marxism is a utopia for dreamers but never works in reality, since the lust for blood and domination is deeply encoded in our Dna.

America is in a state of war with its own society. Ant wars.

Umm what you describe isn't socialism actually...thats authoritarianism. Socialism is more of an economic system really...which could be combined with authoritarianism and become something like what you describe, or it can be mixed with democracy where the populace has a say.

CNN is garbage. They ran a story accusing Donald Trump of eating too much fast food, and now they're sh*****g on him for delivering on his campaign promises lol

Well, considering that those campaign promises he's keeping involve nativism, religious bigotry, homophobia, not to mention a move that is sure to derail any chance of Middle Eastern peace, criticism is justified.

Nativism, religious bigotry, homophobia? Like what?

Peace in the middle east... lol, that's a good one!

Nativism - Talk about that damn wall; and no, it isn't just about illegals, as Trump's supporters are dead set against immigration of any kind, especially if it involves darker people. Think about the shoddy way Trump is treating the Dreamers, or how he wants to limit immigration to only educated, skilled persons (if that was always the case, chances are, you and I wouldn't be Americans today, as our ancestors had no special skills for the most part).

Religious bigotry - Trump giving into the Islamophobia of his base, blaming desperate refugees of the crimes committed against them by actual terrorists.

Homophobia - That proposed idiot freedom of religion legislation of Trump's (as if we didn't already have freedom of religion! ), which is really code for giving his fundie and holy roller supporters freedom to trample on the rights of LGBT Americans.

And I didn't even say anything yet about punishing poor people by cutting medical coverage for them and their children. Or how his tax reform is a huge tax break for the wealthy and corporations, while screwing over the poor and middle class. Or how he's jeopardizing any chance for Middle Eastern peace by giving in again to his fundie and holy howler supporters who think God will reward them for being nice to the Israelis (based entirely on an interpretation of Revelations that no legitimate mainline Biblical scholar defends), even if it causes our Arab allies to turn away from us, possibly forever.

1. Newsflash - EVERY PRESIDENT, both Democrat and Republican, campaign on strengthening America's borders. Those were big campaign promises from Bill Clinton and Obama too, but nobody thought it was racist when they talked about it. The rest of the stuff is just garbage you're inventing. Trump never spoke out against immigration. Mass immigration ended in the early 1900s. Things change. America could not sustain just taking everyone who felt like moving there. (I'm not American btw, I'm Canadian)

2. Religious bigotry... how? All he wanted was a proper vetting of Muslim refugees and immigrants coming in to make sure they're not bringing in terrorists.

3. Homophobia... absolutely not. He's standing up for religious freedom and something called "freedom of association". I'm not religious, but I don't think religious people and businesses should be forced to do something that goes against their religious beliefs. I don't think Muslim business owners should forced to serve or handle pork, either. It's not about bigotry, it's about freedom. Trump was giving interviews to the Advocate 30 years ago supporting gay rights. Hillary and Obama were publicly against gay marriage until a few years ago, people forget that.

When Clinton and Obama enforced immigration laws, they never called Mexicans rapists, murderers, and thieves sent by their own government. And no, I'm not making anything up - it's all true.
No, it's not about better vetting of Muslim immigrants, it's about keeping huge swaths of them out because Trump's more interested in keeping his campaign promises to his bigoted base.
Give an inch on civil rights for one stepped on group, and the rest can easily be pushed back on, too. What this really is about is hatred and loathing of LGBT Americans, and religion is being used as a pretext to justify it.
Yes, I saw you're from Newfoundland. I saw a documentary about your part of Canada called The Nightmare. In it, Newfoundlanders told how they were attacked by an evil hag spirit during the night in a rather sexual manner, which is not so uncommon in rural, backward parts of the world. You getting ridden by the hag at night?

Trump comes from my city. He’s still an asswipe.

The media is biased against him because he is biased against the media.

None of that sh*t is justifiable for helping the rest of us. It's just Republican flash and no substance.

I can tell right now, no group hates LGBT people more than muslims. That's a fact.

Look at the PEW polls results that's been conducted in 8 different muslim majority countries.

If you really think that muslims from saudia arabia are accepting of gays, you are completely delusional...

I have no recollection of saying that, or of anyone else saying that. Yes, there is hatred of LGBT people in Islam - that's the result of religious fundamentalism.

Yeah, I'm sure the main reason conservatives dislike Muslims is out of concern for gay people

So I assume you didn't hear about the tax bill that passed which lowers taxes on the wealthy and eventually raises them on people earning under 75,000 a year.

Also coal is a very dirty industry, not really a step forward as far as energy technology and reducing human pollution.

Meh none of those seem very great.

It's odd how fundamentalist Christianity and fundamentalist Islam agree on many things but they still hate each other.

It's immediate, not eventually.

They are changing the brackets to the "Chained-CPI" that under-estimates inflation.

Despite this, the lower brackets will save people a lot of money.

I save like $2800/yr. My mom saves $1800/yr. My aunt saves $1400/yr.

There is talk of keeping the property tax deduction so these numbers might get better.
