It's not responding to Pearl Harbor that bothers me, it's locking Japanese Families up in internment camps and dropping bombs on their cities.

But whatever. Like I said I give up.

I wasn't justifying American war crimes, I was simply explaining to Powell why America had waged economic war on Japan, prior to Japan instigating a shooting war.
As a matter of fact, the allied bombing of German cities and towns (Dresden having lost more people to fire bombing than those lost in Hiroshima, if such a thing can be imagined) was completely unjustifiable, and doubtlessly could have been prosecuted as a war crime had the Axis won.

Yes, I'm bitter about what we did to the germans and got away with too. Like tearing that country apart and giving the east half to the goddamn Soviet Union.

Don't waste your time with his version of history. The bombs dropped on Japan ended up killing millions because of the generations that sufferered afterwards and those who died of cancer after the blast. He's covering for the US as ever.

There was no good side in WWII.

Japan broke the contract with France and occupied Airfields. All we did was stop giving them oil because of it and THEY bombed Pearl Harbor. They bombed a military base that wasn't even in the US. The US nukes 2 cities.

la chose que je detéste le plus de la californie du sud - c'est qu'il y a un trop du hiéroglyphes inca sur les routes de ma ville - et derrière des façades des immeubles.

Because it's ok when we do it. You can find that in the Nazi archives too. Dropping nukes on civilian cities was as bad as anything the Nazis or Soviets did.

The Japanese really did screwy things to the Chinese, too.

The early to mid 20th century was probably the most destructive time in history.
