Because according to them news they don't like is part of a communist plot to destroy freedom as ordered by the Satanic cult that's secretly running the world.

And they wonder why reasonable people don't take them seriously anymore.

You might recall I cracked a joke about your propensity to compare apples with oranges drawing on examples from the 1800s......and...you've done it again!

Honestly how is politics in 1824 relevant to 2020??

Curious: Focuses on the year mentioned rather than the entire post's content.

This would indicate either 1) poster ignored everything else presented in the post through not reading it in their haste to post a snide remark, or 2) they did read it and felt compelled to focus on the year referenced as a way to attempt to disparage the rest of the original post through being unable to refute its content.

Sadly, neither of those options reflect well on the poster of the above responce.

Oh brother! let me spell it out for you. Your conclusion is false.

A valid argument cannot have all true premises and a false conclusion. So if a valid argument does have a false conclusion, it cannot have all true premises. Thus at least one premise must be false.

You drawing on elections from 1824 are meaningless to how elections are conducted in 2020.

Imagine trying to compare how elections take place in Queensland now with how they were conducted when right wing nutjobs ran the state just a few years ago in the 1970s and engaged in real voter fraud and gerrymandering and used police to intimidate protestors.

People in the U.S(pariculary Magas and right wingers) thinking they have riots in the U.S against police brutality vs actual riots in france.

I mean I didn't see a lot of cops running away from protesters in the U.S 'riots' but with the french riots not sure I ever saw so many projectiles being thrown at cops...I thought it was great, some people may disagree, but like I guess don't tell french people they cannot film the cops. They literally do burn stuff down....

Is that supposed to be any sillier than the Orange Messiah Cult I hear so much about?

Thank you for clarifying that it was - option 1) poster ignored everything else presented in the post through not reading it in their haste to post a snide remark.

The fact there is a claim that the reply was "justified" based on differences in "how elections take place", when the original post made no reference to the election process (which is irrelevent to what followed in that post) and was solely related to the result of the respective elections and subsequent aftermath was quite telling in this respect...

The outcome of an election in 1824 is not relevant to an outcome of an election in 2020.

The outcome of an election in 1824 is not relevant to an outcome of an election in 2020.

Explain why.

Chill, man! I just thought it was funny how you claimed to be impartial.

Gotcha!

Meh.
Not a big deal.

If you ask me, threads like this exist to draw attention away from what's already happened, towards an obvious cause & effect related to the downturn in violence after the election.

This isn't research, it's not a debate, it's partisan misdirection & you all know it.

Misdirection and subversion etc to what end? There's hardly anyone here.

I found it an odd comment, also.

It is rather simple:
I asked people to post Republican bad behaviour, now that they have lost the election.
Not much happening on that front, ATM.

Does Republicans (or "Trump supporters", given there were likely "unaffiliated" and Democrats who voted for him, and some Republicans who didn't) refraining from commiting what Trump detractors projected onto them count as "bad behaviour", given they aren't doing what those people were telling us to expect?

Or was the "bad behaviour" in this case from those who were doing the projecting?

If I were trying to make biden look bad, I'd wait until he was inaugurated before I started causing trouble again. Trouble NOW would be on trump's watch. If I wait till the torch passes, then I can say it's all biden's fault when I rile up my army of kobolds again. Basic strategy.

We know trumps ego is massive, and his precious feelings would be hurt if Big Bad Biden had a bigger inauguration than he did. So what I would do would be to send my army of kobolds into the inauguration to stir up trouble, and then I could claim it as proof that "biden supporters are violent mobs". Keep ramping up trouble from there, so I could claim "biden has no control over america". People would drink that koolaid so fast they'd choke on it.

Until then, since trump lost, demanded a recount, and still lost (lost again?), his best bet is to calm his kobold army down so he looks cool until he leaves, then turn them loose again as mentioned once he's gone.

Also, you don't want partisan talk, but the post title literally references partisan sides. Following the explicit objective of the thread is to engage in partisan talk. It's clever that you're trying to look impartial, but it's not hard to spot the false narrative. It's just a way to falsely equate supposedly partisan behaviors. I.E. so people can say "see, VIOLENT LEFT, PEACEFUL RIGHT", by completely ignoring all context.

This seems like quite a succinct explanation of the BLM\Antifa actions over the past few months, being projected forward...
