You must have forgotten all the good reasons to kill, maybe because of all the reasons you think are wrong.
One of them being self protection during desperate situations. An example: Ok, so there is this guy running at you with a knife, cornering you in an alleyway. There is nothing stopping him from killing you the second he gets to you. But wait a minute, you have a gun in your jacket. Its either you or him, so what to do next is pretty obvious. Its not your fault, furthermore, the guy was going to kill you hmmm..
You know, It seems that conservative christians agree with you on this, dispite the "you shall not kill" commandment in the Bible, I suppose self protection is ok, but, as you say desperate situations, can anyone clearly THINK in desperate situations? What I mean is, that it's always possible you can make a bad judgement and ending up defending yourself killing an innocent person. I say it is possible, this text belongs somewhere else I think

A second example is abortion. When this act becomes illegal, women will become desperate, and attempt to perform it themselves or have it done by the guy in the alley with a coathanger. Do you have any idea of how dangerous this is? Women die most of the time when this happens due to infection. Also, you cant keep putting kids in orphanages, not to mention that they also get over crowded, and theres nothing stopping abusive adults from adopting them, I know from experience. You also cant keep them with a mother who is severely mentally disturbed and is obviously not fit to care for children. Or if a woman is straight up just not ready yet, no matter what it is her responsibility to do what is right and stop a problem before it will occur. How do you know they werent trying to be careful, and used a condom but it broke? Mistakes happen, so just do what you can.
Abortion: I am pro-choice within the first 3 months only, so I agree a little with you there, although I think the reason should be actually justified.

Oh, and lets say there is a maniac who is about to kill an innocent child, or blow up a city, and you have him in your aim with a sniper rifle. Are you really going to think, oh no I might go to hell for this I better not do it?
lol, of course not, although the reason for killing or not killing should be humanitarian, not just for avoiding hell, this case seems to be an exception.
