I never said iy was an insult. I didn't realiest many people with AS were Atheist, at least here they are if you read the posts. I don't want people to be atheist. You would'n go to heaven if you are. I'm trying to help people see that. Sorry for trying to do good

saying that people must have a more severe case of a mental illness just because they disagree with you is an insult, sorry to break it to you. you basically compared AS to being mentally ret*d, and then took that comparison and applied it to your religious values, saying that anyone who disagreed with you and your religion had to be ret*d, but instead of saying ret*d, you said "severe AS". i cant help but be horribly angered by such a comment. its like back in middle school where kids would say being ADHD made you stupid. "trying to do good"? by doing what? insulting people about the beliefs theyve chosen and using AS, a mental state thats completely unrelated to religion, as proof of something wrong in someones heads? cause yeah, totally, someone has to have a screw loose to not love christianity, and you're just the person to preach to us and tell us were all going to hell. leave those kind of decisions to your god, i believe it says somewhere in your bible that its a sin to condemn people in such a way because its like you assume yourself to be god.

Religion has never done one good thing in it's history. And what I mean by that is, there is not one good thing that you need to be religious to do. And no worshipping Jesus is not good before you open your degenerative mouth. You know what, I say you're going to hell because you don't believe in the giant Octopus in the center of the universe, where's your proof that I'm wrong there? I have the same amount of solid proof that you're going to hell for not believing in the octopus that you do for not believing in a god. So I'm just letting you know buddy for not believing in that Octopus you're going to spend all of eternity in pain. Sorry.

If you can't respect another person's opinions here, and if you're going to go all self righteous on us, you really need to leave this discussion before it gets out of hand, or at least apologize to us.

seeing you all post like this here make me belive that most people with AS are Atheist or satanist. You won't get to heaven that way.

Pagan. Extremely eclectic (let's say UU pagan, if there were any within reach of me in the UK, which I don't think there are), and drawing inspiration from Sufism, Kabbalah, mystical Christianity and Buddhism, among many other things.

I believe, very basically, that - as all the mystics of every religion have found - we are all part of All This - call it God, Goddess, Tao, whatever - and that its basic nature is Love. That we're all here to realize that, and that we eventually will - every single one of us, no exceptions. That we get as long as it takes to realize that, in whatever worlds or dimensions our energy has to manifest in to do it. That we all get little bits of Truth, but no person, and no religion, gets the whole big picture here in this world. That we're all still working it out. And that while we're doing so, it might not be a bad idea for us to play nice and be civilised to one another.

You see, those of us who don't believe in a god (like me) don't believe we are supposed to believe this story or that we will burn in hell if we don't believe it. The word says it itself: BELIEF. If you don't belief in the creationism theory, then you also don't believe there is any punishment for not believing the story of Jesus Christ.

I am atheist, but I respect everyone's believes. I am very much fascinated by Islam although I am not a Muslim myself.

I have considered naturalistic pantheism lately, but I really don't know.

I write that I am strongly interested in Islam, and the very next moment I open this topic there is an advertisement for singlemuslim.com on top of the page... What bizarre stuff is going on? The last days every ad on this forum is somehow linked to the content of the topic. Is WP using the Google advertisement systems now that scan topics and then search for a suitable commercial banner?
