Since both are unknowable how do you distinguish between them?

In my opinion "god" exists, if "god" means "a HUGE energy source".

No doubt huge energy sources exist. Our Sun is rather huge but that is a local phenomenon. There are much bigger ones out there but I sincerely doubt any of them is either aware of or interested in the bit of cosmic dust we call Earth.

I don't believe in them INSTEAD of god but I do believe they might exist, by that I mean sentient beings I DO BELIEVE that animals exists somewhere out there. Now as to whats sentient and what that really means thats another convo entirely :P

Do you believe in the possibility of sentient life out there or have you confirmable evidence of its existence. That evidence would interest other people very much.

Ockham's Razor states this hypothesis is more likely possible.

I think my religion is the only one which confirms the existence of Aliens. We do say that Allah is the Lord of the Worlds after all.

I wonder why merely saying something confirms anything. No rational person has ever said there is no possibility of alien life. But that it is possible does not make it so.

I believe there's a possiblity of alien life as big as the universe is but wouldn't know for sure since I myself or as a whole have never seen anything extraterrestrial. Plus if there was, it would probably take many years for them to get there. Other than that, extraterrestrial life could also be that of a fungi or bacteria, nothing with an astounding IQ or thought process such as a human.

If you look at just our local solar system there seems only a very slight chance that anyplace but Earth has any life potential and the nearest star is around four light years away so that, unless some extraordinary method of travel is discovered it is unlikely much travel can take place. Star Wars and Star Trek are unlikely science fantasies. But considering our local life there is no intelligence comparable to human other than human so intelligence, even under the best of conditions, intelligence does not seem to develop easily. And even close intellects like the chimpanzees and perhaps dolphins seem extremely unlikely as intellectual companions as no easy communication to them has been discovered. There is, of course, the slight possibility that other intelligent Earth life is well aware of the brutality and destructive tendencies of humanity and are keeping themselves well hidden, but I doubt it.

There are innumerable stars with planetary possibilities in our own and other galaxies but even communication at light speed makes contact too cumbersome and unlikely considering the time lag. Nevertheless it is probably wise to keep listening and keep trying but I wouldn't bother to worry about little grey people.

^Strange how we're the only ones with a form of intellect and freewill so to speak on earth at least that I know of.

The Neanderthals might have made it but I assume we Cro-Magnons wiped them out.

Not at all. Without a universe to build a shuttle in tornadoes, in general, are rather helpless.

Evidently you are unacquainted with statistical probabilities in relation to the probable time span of the existence of the universe.

No, I'm unacquainted with Finnish grammar superimposed on an English sentence.

Id est: your last sentence made no sense whatsoever in English.
