So you're sad that educated people believe the world would be better off with some fascists dead? Sorry dude but that's been the party line of the educated since fascism was INVENTED.

The only good fascist is a dead fascist, unless of course they decide to just stop being fascist.

Even if I could afford to move there’s no where Else to go this is the last grueling free nation on this planet, those who believe in the bill of rights have no where else to go.

I'm really going to hate myself for responding to you again but this ain't the only true "free country" in the world. Americans keep telling themselves that all the time because they refuse to acknowledge the real problems in their own country. There are plenty of other developed countries like Canada, Australia, and The UK that would give you pretty much the same freedoms and rights that we have.

Ok I'm done. Please don't go ape*** because I dared to disagree with you.

Name one other nation with the same or better gun rights? There’s non. Name other nations that have a law protecting freedom of speech?
Non of those nations you mentioned have freedom of speech or gun rights

Of course none of that means anything whenever someone gets shot for saying the wrong thing.

Except lots of educated people were I. The high positions in fascists governments and wanting to remove freedom of speech of those who disagree with you and wanting them killed is fascist policies

Actually I can name two that allow the right to bare firearms: Mexico and Guatemala .

And freedom of speech?

And frankly I don't give a flying **** about gun rights. I could be happy living in a country where I don't have to worry about some homophobic racist redneck survivalist armed to the teeth with guns trying to hunt me down and shoot me because he didn't like people like me.

I don't know about Guatemala, but my understanding is that Mexico is not at all friendly to private citizens having firearms.

As I understand it, you have to have a license to possess a firearm (I'm not sure you can have two), there is only one firearms store in the country allowed to sell to civilians and it is in Mexico City, and there are very strict limits on the calibers of firearms that you can buy,

If you are a visitor to the country and accidentally have a firearm (forgot to take it out of the car) then you can spend years in prison.

Well as I said before. Why should I personally give a flying **** about gun rights? I don't even like guns so I couldn't care less if I lived in a country that made them illegal for me to own.

As for Freedom of Speech? Most countries actually DO have freedom of speech. I don't know where Americans get the idea that they are the only ones who have that right.

I guess "more ruthless" for the Democrats means successful assassinations rather than merely attempted assassinations.

I hope the Republicans and the Democrats kill each other in a bloody second American Civil War and then once it is over and everyone is dead maybe they'll shut the **** up.

Of course I won't be siding with either side. I'll just be the sycophant who pretends to side with whoever emerges the victor to save my own ***. Assuming I don't somehow get killed in the crossfire. :wtg:

On these forums, it comes up often that people in the UK don't have freedom of speech.

In the UK, there's actually "offensive speech" laws.

In America, we tolerate most hateful, offensive speech.

Also, unlike America, it seems like many countries ban "Holocaust denial" speech.

In America, we let people spew any crazy theories, like Alex Jones.

The biggest though, is that in America you criticize the government & politicians & religion.

Good for them!

But you could argue that we don't have true "free speech" in our country either when it comes to certain situations. For example a student in school is not allowed to argue with their teacher without getting punished for it. Also it is very illegal to make death threats or to threaten to shoot up a public place or to blow it up. You also are not legally allowed to discuss a court case when on jury duty, and a doctor can get into serious legal trouble for discussing anything their patient said to them in confidence.

I think "freedom of speech" is too broad a term because there really is no true freedom of speech even in our country.

But in other countries you don't get clunked on the head by the police and carried off to a dungeon to be tortured to death just because you say you don't like the queen or the prime minister or whatever.

There are worse countries than America, but that doesn't say that much.

It's like saying the the person in 8th place is still better than the countries that come after it - 8th place wouldn't be anything to brag home about.

If the country continues to fall apart, I'm heading to Canada (which would be easiest since Toronto is literally two hours away from my home town - I love it there) or the UK.

Trump is a symptom, not the disease. All of this has been going on since before Trump, he just dialed it up.

I fail to see a negative here. Then, your last one isn't an America only or have you not heard about all the fights over Brexit? Hell, Conservatives were also whining about the Trump baby balloon - I know Trumpsters have heard about that.

It just goes to show how distant Trumpsters are from reality for many minorities. The given description makes it sound like paradise.
