MTG's theme song
_________________ When a clown moves into a palace, he doesn't become king, the palace becomes a circus. "Many of us like to ask ourselves, What would I do if I was alive during slavery? Or the Jim Crow South? Or apartheid? What would I do if my country was committing genocide?' The answer is, you're doing it. Right now." —Former U.S. Airman (Air Force) Aaron Bushnell
What it’s like singing a song at a JW convention. They love emphasizing obedience. The 2014 convention is the last one I attended. Mine was at an indoor stadium closer to home, but I sang this song there.
The following is at an assembly. It was a hard song to get through if you just lost a family member or were struggling with something serious. I still know all the lyrics, and I haven’t attended in 10 years.

Here's a song about a man who's become so disgusted with humankind having become so corrupted by its sins that he prays to The Lord to bring forth his divine apocalypse now. The second verse I find highly relatable. The guy soon has second thoughts as he realizes he might be punished just the same as everyone else so he pleads to be spared for he is different than the other humans. Why should we be punished for the sins of others? Why should the lesser sinful suffer the same fate as the greater sinful?

Whether you're religious or not its interesting.
A lecture in theology hiding inside a country song explaining why some favor the doctrine of "salvation through grace" over the doctrine of "salvation through works", but explained in terms that even a high school drop out can understand.
