The German economy failed to grow at all in the last three months of the year, with GDP unchanged compared with the previous quarter.

Meanwhile, France reported a 0.6% rise in GDP for the same three-month period - better than analysts expected.

Figures also showed the eurozone economy grew 0.1% in the same quarter.

Doesn't look like Germany is doing well to me.

The fact remains, if you asked the Germans and the other western Europeans if they want to have medical coverage cut, you'd get a resounding NO!
In all honesty, though, in comparison, Western Europe isn't doing that badly compared to other places.

What you want to have is not necessarily what you can afford to pay for, this goes for countries as well as people.

Then in that same line of thinking, shouldn't the super rich sacrifice their tax cuts, too, if everyone else has to give something up?

We all know that someone is quite infatuated with Glenn Beck.

"Raising" a million bucks isn't the same as "donating" a million bucks.

He is a long way behind Bill Gates.

Someone paying him $75K for a helicopter ride (it wouldn't surprise me if Inuyasha were ahead on the bidding) isn't the same as him paying $75K for charity.

"purveyor of memes"?

The meme concept was stupid enough when it was supposed to be a pseudogenetic self-replicating unit. Now it is something to be purveyed?

But perhaps with the popularization of the WORD the concept has gottgen lost, like Harris' "transformation" in the hands of Chomskyite Transformers.

You mean fix Israel's wagon.

The last friend a Jew needs is that shagitz Glenn Beck.

Beck and his friends are only siding with Israel because they expect Jesus to literally come back to Jerusalem, and usher in the rapture and his thousand year rule.
By the way, what's a shagitz?

It is the Yiddish version of the Hebrew Shekutz which means a detestable thing.

And you people wonder why I think some people here just come unhinged whenever Glenn Beck's name is mentioned.

Fact of the matter is Glenn Beck has nothing against the Jewish people. Just because he has a problem with certain individuals whom happen to be "Jewish" does not mean he's an anti-semite.

Hell, there are Jewish people other there that have a problem with the same individuals Beck does, does that make them anti-semites too?

You guys are behaving just like the crackpots claiming that everyone whom is critical of Obama are racists.

Beck's attitude toward Jews in general is shaped by his theology. One of these days Jews will be treated like ordinary folks who happen to practice a peculiar religion. But that day is not now.

When a religious Christian wants all the Jews back in the Holy Land so Christ can come back, I get a little bit touchy and off put.

Only the Jews that have bought into the lies spewed by George Soros. I'm trying to remember, were you the one I schooled before when someone here was trying to claim that Glenn Beck was calling for his audience to go shoot people, and proved that was just a snippet taken out of context and when you looked at what he actually said, it was something entirely different.
