That can't be true. A petunia is at 50%, a mouse at 80%, or something like that. Order of magnitudes, i'm not bothered with checking them up, i'm confident i don't talk nonsense. The monkeys are surely over 90% .

That is very subjective. A more cogent objection is that the death penalty is sometimes executed on innocent people. It is a form of "friendly fire" in the war against crime.

There are two ways of addressing this problem: One way is to say - oh well, such is the cost of dealing with real bad guys.

Another way is to not put people to death but to remove them from our midst effectively and permanently. For example, remotely located penal colonies. If perchance an innocent is sent away, he can be retrieved.
