I guess they figure it’s okay since they are more “enlightened” or whatever. Even if they do mean it they figure no one would believe they’re actually like that.

I more than concede there are racist buttholes in every group - including political liberals. But you seem to imply that most liberals in general are guilty of this.

Having actually lived in more than one region of the United States and visited even more, I can assure you that at least racial epithets and homophobia are alive and well outside of Dixie. We've been over this before.
And these "acquaintances" come from all over. It's fairly common for people to move around a little during their lives.

When did I use the word "south?" Idaho - which is right next door - unfortunately has a reputation for having citizens with some rather uncharitable views on race.
I will say this, though - you southern guys are more than a little thin skinned when it comes to the topic of racism.

You think that work (both manual and creative) should be rewarded and not just gambling (Wall Street, banks etc.).

France is 100% human. So an attack on France is an attack on humanity.

I'm reminded of a Conservative song

People used to be more explicit about disliking welfare because they felt that the money was going to Black folks. Now, they are considerably more coy.

That hardly qualifies as a world war.

Given that political correctness is usually known as "politeness", is Raptor claiming that right wingers are essentially rude?

You are a left winger if you side with the powerless. You are a right winger if you side with the rich and powerful. (hopefully they will adopt you LOL)
I have always admired men that knowingly enter a battle where they are outmanned and outgunned. Defending the elite and international corporations has always struck me as wienie.

Ask the families of all the innocent civilians who have been killed by drones. World war has gone high tech.

And you're saying it's on the scale of innocent civilian deaths during WWII?

I said nothing about "scale." IMO, world war, or call it what you will, in the twenty-first century is beginning to look very different.
