Besides, with all the issues we deal with, we need the clown car. It looks like c-span will be airing 1 or 2 debates with all candidates involved 2 o 3 days before the first Fox debate. Pop the pop corn and let the fun begin...

As the Roman Empire decayed, there arose rulers like Caligula and Nero.
History repeats itself; therefore, Donald Trump.

Actually, as unbelievable as it may seem. Caligula and Nero both reigned when Rome was at it's height (!).

but didn't they play a key role in knocking Rome down from its height?

Surprisingly, no. Their successors were for the most part competent men who guided a titanic military and economic force. The fall of the western empire began to happen with the split between the wealthy, urbanized east, and the poorer, more rural west. A word of warning for pro-secessionists today who think the Bible Belt, or some other poor, largely rural area would be better off without us idol worshiping masturbators in the blue states.

somehow, I don't believe they will heed any warnings.

Nope, probably not.

Donald Trump Says John McCain Is No War Hero, Setting Off Another Storm

that's what advisors are for.

Same here. Besides, being successful in business doesn't teach you economics. It teaches you how to run a business. The country isn't now and never has been a business, despite how badly the Rupublicans want it to be.Besides, Trump has gone bankrupt what, 3 or 4 times. That means it ultimately comes out of our dime...

Besides, Carly Firiano, what-ever-her-name-is, had ended up getting fired by her board of directors after laying off a huge number of employees, while practically driving it into the ground. If that's expertise in how to run an economy, then I'd rather have an amateur.

Rand knows economics well, he doesn't speak about like his father did but he has good people around him. Named Mark Spitznagel as his senior economic advisor who is a cool cool dude and a genius to boot, you guys might remember him as the billionaire who released a bunch of goats in Detroit and is deeply involved in their urban farming movement.

More fodder for the 'debates' aka 'the clown car'.
Just what we hoped for...

The only good President is one that will tell you to stop paying any & all forms of tax, get rid of taxes altogether, convert it instead into a service-donation system, such that if you want it to exist in society (such as roads & hospitals), then you will fund it voluntarily, and if you do not want it to exist (such as thieving high-way robber-barons who pretend to be doing a so-called official-duty of law-enforcement), then you simply do not fund its existence & let it disappear from being a burden to productive-society.

A good president also needs to completely eliminate any & all interest-rates, abolish & disband The Federal-Reserve, and get government to print its own currency that has NO debts attached. Plenty of historic evidence already exists that just these two things alone (getting rid of both taxes & interest-rates) would drastically increase & improve the quality-of-life for everybody on an extreme scale compared to anything that can be pulled off now with the current systems.
